Dr. Octo Rex

The upgraded Dr. Octo Rex loop player loads eight REX loops into one player and lets you switch between them on the fly - but playing REX loops is just the start of this device. Your REX loops are about to get tweaked beyond what you thought possible.

Neptune

Propellerhead users have asked for pitch correction software and we have delivered, and then some. Our engineers and developers weren't content to just create a pitch correction device. Neptune is both a pitch correction device, a real-time audio transposer, and a voice synthesizer/harmonizer that will open up new sounds in your tracks.

Blocks

Many musicians tend to think of music in terms like intro, verse, chorus, breakdown, buildup and so on. With the new Blocks mode in Reason 5 and Record 1.5, your sequencer does too.
Blocks lets you sequence your songs using a more pattern-based approach, with the segments of your song as individual building blocks to be laid out in your arrangement.

Live Sampling

Remember the time when samples were something you sampled and not loaded from your hard drive? When a sampler was a machine that could record samples, not just play them back. Live sampling is back. Grab your mic.

Kong

Quite simply, the Kong Drum Designer gives you every conceivable method of making beats. Analog synthesis, physical modeling, sampling, REX loops, tone generators, and effects. If you think Kong looks massive, it is massive.

Sounds really good!

NG "Classic Arcade" collection? Posted May 17th, 2010 in General

I think there should be a collection for old rip off of classics that got that old atari feel, games that resemble Pong, Frogger, Missile Command, SNAKE..
Most of the games I see that do resemble them have peculiar names that are hard to search. I'd like to be able to add them into SOME sort of collection.

What do you guys think?

Sure! I just got Reason/Record so I can mess with audio files! And...I have none :(

Link me some raw guitar files. Give me the tempo and Scale and I'll play with it! Or I can make some drums / Bass for you first if you like..

Hit me up on my Newgrounds if you like my previous work.

Arrange house furnature Posted April 13th, 2010 in Game Development

Steal my idea (as long as you email me when it's done, lol)

I'm trying to arrange my house furniture differently. It'd be cool to have a program I could type in the dimensions of the room, length of furniture, etc. and freely arrange them via birds eye.
Anyone on NG make something like this already?

I've seen 3d programs out there. Not interested in that...

If I like it, 5. If I'd never listen to it again due to shit: 0. Anything in between I don't bother rating unless it's on the top 100 charts.

SO, let me get this straight: You're recreating the beat to rid the vocals so someone can rap over them? If you copy the beat verbatim then there's case in a court of law to be considered plagury

oops..posted it before I was done..

anyway.....

have you tried recording you recording the beat? like just freestyle beat boxing the song? that helps me out keeping on track. I suppose if you're forcing a song on a simple thing maybe you can't think of anything to add? Mehhhhh...uhhh..what parts are most repetitive in your songs? The bass?

Response to: voice tweaks?! Posted January 3rd, 2009 in Audio

It's called Melodyne. It allows you to speed up/slow down each part of the voice audio file like you maneuver MIDI Notes o a sequencer.

From the website@ celemony.com :

"Melodyne is the perfect tool for pitch shifting and time stretching in convincingly natural sound quality, for correcting the intonation and timing of singing, for audio quantization, producing harmonies, and remixing and restructuring the melody, tempo or timing of existing recordings. With Melodyne you can actually do the impossible - and do it easily. "
