Yep, happens to me all the time. It's a combination of Adobe being shit and Wacom being shit.
Nothing you can do about it but restart.
Occasionally my tablet buttons stop working aswell. I go to make a new frame and it doesn't work. It's lame..

Are your symbols graphic symbols, or movieclips?

24fps is the average framerate for animators.
Stage color, the default is white. But some people use darker colors like greys etc.
Stage size, HD 1920 by 1080. It looks the best when you're done.

"Chapters of our lives"
A Flash Pass of sorts.
Each animator animates a small part of a pre determined characters life.

I think that'd be a fun idea for a collaboration :)
Really I'm just dying for a collaboration to spring up that grabs the communities attention.

this is a joke, I wouldn't get butt hurt about it..

Start by being completely untalented.
Look online for madness styled characters and weapons.
Have a terrible plot line similar to the other hundred madness tributes.
Make sure it's super predictable with loads of gore.
Your character should be the only character on the screen that knows how to fight in the beginning of the flash.
Later on in the flash have a boss battle where the protagonist takes like one hit and then fucks the boss up.
End it abruptly and make sure you don't give any closure to the "plot line."
Usually adding "to be continued" will get you a bunch of fans.
And finally kill yourself for releasing another one of these flashes unto the portal..

Try picking up a decent tablet it helps ALOT.
You look like you're off to a good start try watching more popular animators on ng's tutorials such as chlauid oney and spazkid. And practice practice practice!

The secret of great animators is to PROCRASTINATE
Take on multiple projects at once regardless of your time available. Work on the one you are least interested in and if you become interested in it switch to another project. CONSTANTLY doubt yourself. IF one frame looks bad scrap the whole thing, odds are it looks like shit.
Final tip is to animate the entire thing and then try to voice it.

So I've just returned to Newgrounds very recently. Sports, school, and friends got in the way this year but I'm back indefinitely :)
So I'm really bored of my own ideas and was wondering if anyone would be interested in collaborating with me! I think it would be a great opportunity to learn and have fun! If anyone is interested please give me a reply!

That might be true..

I stayed up all night trying to clear out my hardrive to handle dropping the parts in.
The file gets to massive and crashes on me every-time I try dropping RekNews into the first slot.
My computer has zero clutter right now and still can't handle this. It may be a result of just having a bad program.
Is it possible to convert this to AVI? Because right now it's the only way I see this being completed. My Adobe flash can't handle even one part without blowing up.
