Unless you have aheart or lung condition, which I would say few people here most likely have.

And if you contract it, you also risk passing it on. Does the disease really need to spread further because people who failed elemntary science read some email about the vaccine having mercury.

Because while yes, on a very elementary level, it has mercury in it. But if you have a passing grade in chemistry, you should know that in a compund subsatnce it's completely harmless. Seriously, science shit, look it up.

Salt includes Sodium and Chlorine, both lethan toxin SHOCK, HORROR.

@Acid. None taken.

Anyway, on the mercry compund. Let's make a comparison. Sodium is a metal explosive in contact with water and Chlorine is a toxic gas that is also highly flammable. Their compound "Sodium Chloride" is a treacherous substance that can be found in almost every household, and sea water has ALARMING levels of it. Animal tests with slugs have shown Sodium Chloride to be highly lethal. Yet, the US, Germany, China, India and Canada produce it by TONNES, for various purposes all of which we might not even know of.

Those of you who passed high school chemistry might be smirking now.

Those of you who don't, are probably forwarding the above text to everyone in your email contacts.

Besides, the H1N1 shot is for cowards, old people, and stupid people, essentially all the same thing really.

Or you know, chronic illness such as ashtma, which might cause a bad reaction to the flu.

Like I do. I'm getting the shot tomorrow, if all goes well.

I swear it's all drama with us queers.

But on the topic of trangderism, I admit I'm not very good with that, I struggle to refer people with the right pronouns (but since it's online it doesn't look out of form), Finnish doesn't have gendered pronouns, so I'm a bit over-correct when it comes to English. I don't know why I'm so retarded about it; it's just a letter added or ommited. She's a he and he's a she, it's not hard to type.

Also, I don't think my slight shemale fetishism is entirely politically correct :o

Heh, reminds me of this one time I walked past a bunch of guys on the street. I don't know what it was; my jeans' cut, my way of walking, the concealing form of the jacket or something, but one of them ran after me and pinched my ass, and went pale from shock when I turned around and he realised I was a guy.

In hindsight, I was a bit flattered.

Also, I'm not an anarchist, but I do share some of the ideals, so I can answer that. People are not evil, the system they live in just rewards bad behaviour (overcompetetiveness, opression, hate). People generally* strive for good, and what they perscieve as the collective good. They just do it in the framework of the system they exist in. If someone lives in a capitalist system, they might believe that trickle down is the best for everyone in the long run.

Abiogenesis != Evolution.

Evolution has been proven to happen, on micro and macro level. Right, the scientists can't yet prove how life started. There are theories and hypothesis, but they are not, note not a part of the theory of evolution.

Anyway, you are right in that some amount of regulation is needed. But most left wing anarchist ideals are based on downsizing all that industry and living a more natural way of life, and outside mass productuion, mass mistakes don't happen as easily.

Of course, there are some GLB groups that exclude transgenders, and there's been some bickering over that.

That does sound pretty hreat. I wish there was some activity here, but the local GLBT group -- which was the first in FInland -- is these days inactive. I'd love to start some activity at the uni (ecause, hey, university), but I don't really know if there's any GLBT people there (I know one, but he's with the conservative party). I just don't really have the courage to amke too much of a spectacle of myself either, so putting up flyers or such is not entirely a good idea.

We need some serious queertastic hugging over here.

This is always a good idea.
