There's a lot of 'Drawing with a tablet's like learning to draw all over again'
This is bullshit, I drew pretty much the same as I did on paper when I first got my tablet. Sure, it's a little different, but within 5 minutes you should be cool with it.

You can learn to draw well on tablet, not just on paper. They're essentially the same fuckn' thing.

Great thread idea, but it would be best people show their ACTUAL SHOES, not ones blatantly off google image. The point is to see what kind of lifestyle you have, where you go and that by seeing your shoes. You can tell a lot about the character this way; unlike with a clean bastardly stock photo.

I'd say that is the best piece so far,
Because it was (I assume) a real life image, and it's all you drawing that.

Throwing in some crit, I suppose just round it up a little and add some more detailed texture, and generally work it up from being a quick sketch as you said it was. By the way, don't know if you've this problem, but I used to work real hard on the centerpiece of the image (in this case, the squirrel) and not really bother about the background. But I found that the whole pic is ruined with a backing that does not compliment the efforts of the key feature. So, try to make every part of the image great, and you'll have a quality piece by the end.

Regardless of who 'fails' and who does not, this story is really not funny at all. It is more of a statement you'd say in response to someone seeing the ordeal and the asking 'what happened?'
I can't really think of another reason you'd want to say what you did.
