You seem to be doing well imo, I used to like trying to get good at drawing real humans, however I was never very satisfied at all with what I ended up with. Hands, and other anatomical things, can be best learned (imo, again) via looking at your own. I learned to draw hands quite satisfactory by just drawing my own holding a pencil or something. Just in a few different poses and such. Likewise, you could learn noses and other facial features by looking in the mirror, or simple references. It may prove difficult at first, but hey, the more you do it, the better you will get.
