I think you're both just tits making mountains out of molehills. There's no valuable lesson to be learned here at all, you just wanted to say "look how mature and level-headed I was in this spat with a thirteen year old and his allegedly plagiarized ORIGINAL CHARACTER". I can't imagine what possessed you to try and patch up an adolescent conflict on the internet anyway, much less on fucking deviantart. "Be a man" and "reason with the other party"? Piss off. What he did was the sensible option, he didn't even entertain the argument and blocked them. The method you suggested he employ was the very method you tried yourself, and look how far it got you. It's not "be careful being charitable" (which is a real fuckin condescending way of addressing your 'generosity' anyway, totally contrasting your tryhard liberalism) so much as "don't waste your time with internet arguments". Which despite being common sense, took you nine days to work out. Nice.

And with regards to your "reputation", I really don't think anyone's going to be all that concerned about the pissing contest a guy you drew a picture for is or ain't presently entertaining. It's hardly the fucking match of the century.

Downscaling will probs take away the crunchy pixels, so here's the native res.

Your art is so delicate and lovely, I want it for myself. Give it to me.

This has been sitting on the desktop for too long, I lost interest when the colour came because I'm shite at it. Please enjoy what there is of the line, in any case.

Flea, I don't know where to start. Your work is just so incredibly raw and soulful, nothing I've come across on this board has ever sparked my appreciation as much as your work has. It boggles my mind how you go about drawing what you do, to create such a signature style that is consistent yet varied in all your work. I think what I love about it so much is its imperfection. It isn't clean, it isn't polished, yet you seem to have a clear idea of what you want to create, and by God you do it.
I'm quite sure you could create clean, accurately proportioned pictures with little trouble at all, but instead you choose draw your own interpretation of the subject instead, leaving only the key fundamentals that make it what it is. To me, this is what art is, a bold new way to see things. Almost like looking through another person's eyes to see things you would otherwise overlook.

Contrary to the previous comment, I think your lines are beautiful. I've no problem with you making smoother, more pristine, work, but I feel that as far as your previous pieces go, they really make them for me.

I would buy and display a piece from you any day. Particularly the tiger character, your 'Photo mash up' and anything from this page.

Always dug the way you draw Noire's eyes.
The classic graphic novel outfits are pretty dope too, what with the low-cut jeans and tanktops.

Response to: Animation Dots Posted June 6th, 2010 in Game Development

Solved the problem. For some reason deleting a third layer I had which was a small white blob covering part of my image got rid of all the imperfections.

Thanks for the input though, man.

Response to: Animation Dots Posted June 6th, 2010 in Game Development

Ugh, I don't really fancy that, mate. I did try exporting the animation as a gif sequence, but the dots are there even though they're bitmaps!

Hey.

I'm new to this board, so I'm not sure if I'm breaking any rules here- regardless, I hope I can have this problem solved before I'm slapped in the face.

I've made this .gif, but even as a .swf, I can't seem to get rid of these lil dots on the animation. How would one go about removing these?
