Runescape is the first game to come to mind, but I think everyone stopped playing that when they turned 10.

I don't give a damn what the credits say, there's no way Quincy Sharp's voice actor is anybody besides Patrick Stewart.

Response to: Psychonauts 2 might finally happen Posted February 8th, 2012 in Video Games

Psychonauts didn't seem like the kind of game to have a sequel, anyways.
The game's ending would beg to differ.
...Up until the very end of it. Otherwise, I'd probably be content with just the one game they ever made for it.

Well then it seems I didn't finish it after all. I couldn't remember how it ended but I could have sworn i'd beaten it. I think I might have gotten lost and given up when you're in the mind of the matador guy.

brb, going to read plot summary and see what I missed

Who are you and why is your opinion so important that it needs its own thread?

Nah i'm just fucking with you, I just wanted to goof around with the new posting system. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and I for one love the redesign.

I dig it, it feels much more creative and laid back than the old one. And the cleavage currently in the top right corner of the background doesn't hurt.

I take back what I said about this game, I love it now. Although brawls can still be pretty dull compared to predator areas.

If you have the Robin character pack, can you play as him in New Game+? And if so, do the other characters treat you any differently, like having different dialogue?

Meh/Verge Of Watchable:

Basically any show, just as long as it's not a soap opera or one of those dumb, pointless shows like Jersey Shore that decrease your IQ.

My "pretty good" shows are basically just the ones I like to play while i'm working for background noise.

You can only make the same game so many times.

LOL, You know that's not true you just don't like sonic. It's no different then with mario and coins. or jak and daxter and precursor orbs, or pacman and dots.

Probably. Although they don't try to make a reboot of pacman every 5 years by slightly changing his character model and making the background 3d.

I'm going to bed now

Here comes an argument

But yeah, i'd get rid of games that get too much hype. Everybody rambled about how Skyrim was going to be the most revolutionary game ever to grace the earth and how it had over 300 hours of gameplay. What they didn't mention is that after the bigger quest lines, everything becomes pretty dull and repetitive.

Here comes another argument.

Bioshock.

Underwater with cool views of the ocean? Check.
Remnants of a once great society destroyed by civil war? Check.
Steampunk architecture and characters? Checkidee.
Dark and creepy setting without actually intending to scare around every corner? Big check.
Zombie-like mutated enemies? Check

It's like, fuck.

So is Skyrim, the hype was ridiculous especially the week before it's release.
The hype is justified in the case of many though as I understand there are still thousands of people who have been playing it constantly since it came out. Personally, I found Skyrim pretty underwhelming and a big let down, possibly because I hyped it up so much in my case. I played Mass Effect 1 and 2 though, going into it with no real understanding of the series and I did like the games, but I don't understand how people can claim it's the greatest series ever or anything like that. They're good, just not that good.

Part of it is just how flabbergastingly well imagined and immersive the Mass Effect universe is, from the characters on your team to the junk mail that Commander Shepard gets in his email. I don't know, I think you need to be a nerd to truly appreciate a vast sci-fi universe of realistic design and lore like Mass Effect.
