The revenue here is low

Posting here is not hindering your revenue gain on youtube, thus, posting here = new views on a whole 'nother platform that you can later turn into subcribers for your youtube account, which would ultimately increase your revenue on youtube.
I won't be too sure the viewers here will most likely subscribe to youtube from here. If they can watch it here, why watch on youtube? Besides, it would be more convenient to just become a fan here than to go over to youtube and subscribe.
At 4/4/14 07:48 PM, Mabelma wrote: That doesn't make much sense mate, think about it.Those that watch your video on youtube is either cause they are subscribed to your channel or because you let them know through some social media platform. So uploading here wouldn't make your revenues on youtube go down, no, it would instead garner you new views that wouldn't had even known your content was even out there because they weren't subscribed to your channel. So ultimately you'd be winning on both fronts plus helping the community.
Getting new views here is good but still the views here bring little to no revenue. So content creators are more likely to think that it's not that worth uploading their content here unless they don't care about the revenue.

If the problem is you might not get subs on youtube, then link to your youtube on the video itself or maybe in the author's note, point is, post on both places! At 4/1/14 12:18 PM, HandsomeCat wrote:I could not agree more.At 3/31/14 10:13 PM, Jess-The-Dragoon wrote: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oxDwjJ94vk4And that is exactly why this place is so bleak. Support the site by posting your work here on Newgrounds.
People don't earn much revenue here compared to youtube. That's why people focus on youtube. If they upload here too, part of the views they get here won't earn them much.
Hey guys! I'm an anime fan too and I've always wanted to create my own anime. Over the years of watching anime I tried and so far I've released a bunch on the internet. Here's the latest one:

That's just one part of an episode but the rest can be watched here: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLRPsU8xhbHFwdqBMbm4mjOQCWZKnhrZjf
Lemme know what you guys think!
Sure took me a while to find this thread. This place sure has gone bleak...
Anyway, I made a new animation. Thought it could life-ten this place up a bit.

He's got a decent number of followers by NG standards, but why not have over 10k?
He's already got a more decent number of subscribers on his youtube channel, that's why.

Wow it's great to see more animators here! This thread is getting kinda long so here are the posting details again so that new animators won't have to refer to the first page for it.
-Name or screen name or both
-Kind(s) of animation that you do (2d, 3d, flash, motion graphics etc...)
-Your animation style(s) (anime, Genndy Tartarkovsky style, Disney style, 3d cel shading etc...) <------ if applicable
-Sample animations or portfolio
-Resume URL(if there's any)
-Website(if there's any)
-Contact (email, skype etc...)
Also if you have screenshots of your work, it'll be even better. Slap'em here!

Thanks!

I guess they're considering them to be the same as Artists at the moment, which isn't really correct.
Maybe we should alert them of this blunder, because I'm not sure many people will find this list of animators.
Animators are Artists in a way. So I can't say they left out animators. Just not referring to them directly.
I'm currently spreading the word about this post. If you know any animators, feel free to tell them about this.
Hi guys! It's been a while! Had a few releases since August and thought I might wanna post them here before I continue with the next one.

Lemme know what you guys think! Enjoy! :)
I've had T-shirts gotten from competition prizes and honestly, I love them. I'm still wearing my angry faic t-shirt I got from 2007 Madness Day contest. The reason why I don't want to discard it is because I can't seem to purchase T-shirts or any other kind of NG merchandise from NG store from where I live. I've been asking around about whether NG ships to abroad but I didn't get an answer. I think my reason could be one of the reasons why the store is gong to be cleared now.
Anyway, I think NG should have store give-aways instead of just cash prizes for competitions. This could help clear the store faster.
Happy Madness Day 2013 people! I didn't make any madness flash this year but I did way back in 2007. :)

Enjoy the madness! -o| (+) |o-
I think it's not a good idea. Speedpaints are not flash related most of the time and do not really fall under the movie entertainment category. Maybe you could create a new separate channel on youtube for Newgrounds for this, since youtube now supports multiple channels per account, and put a link here on NG.
Ok this is the sequel. Happy Clock Day 2013!

I'm gonna release the sequel this year but Clock Day is almost over throughout the world. So if there is some kinda extension due to the lack of clock movies, I might still be in time.
I thought Jack's Halloween Treats was over a long time ago but.... NG Best of 2011 Movie Nominee??!! Wow you guyz...

Thanks for the responses, you guys. Glad to know that some people are interested in this idea. Anyway, for those who want to post here, here's a list of things to post when you join the list:
-Name or screen name or both
-Kind(s) of animation that you do (2d, 3d, flash, motion graphics etc...)
-Your animation style(s) (anime, Grendy Tartarkovsky style, Disney style, 3d cel shading etc...) <------ if applicable
-Sample animations or portfolio
-Resume URL(if there's any)
-Website(if there's any)
-Contact (email, skype etc...)
I actually posted this in another post called 'Animation Club' but it got locked for some reason. >.> So I decided to transfer the info here instead.
Don't forget to invite your fellow animator friends! Thanks ^^
I don't usually do that: if there's a song I want to put into a playlist, all I do is go to said song, click on the sign with three horizontal lines (that's the Playlist sign), and then it'll give the option to put it into a new playlist, or an existing one if I already have one.
Oh ya! Thanks for the info!
I'm not sure if I can report spammers and offensive users here. I've come across them many times and have tolerated them but this time they have reached my breaking-point.
icherii-studioz
This user spammed the comments in my latest blog post I had to delete them myself one by one. I left one of his spam for YOUR reference and have used the 'ban user?' function through that spam comment.
I hope the admins at NG can purge NG of these terrible users.
We can create our own audio playlist on NG now? How do I access that option from my NG dashboard?
I'm thinking of making this thread a list of animators so that people who want to search specifically for animators can easily find them and enthusiastic animators can easily be found by just posting their info on this thread. I know there's already the Newgrounds Collabinator but then it includes more than just animators and it's more about hiring/getting hired. Besides, I wasn't actually able to find an official list of animators (or programmers, musicians, etc...) here on Newgrounds.
So if you're an animator and are interested in this idea. Feel free to post your info here!
Same goes for this one IMHO.
