Looks great I Have to Say, Though Background? you should make it more than just what it is right now, it looks fine but with good background it could be better.

For the most part your work is good, the one thing that bugs me is how most of it is so dark, what detail I can see is very nice, but most of its black or too dark to really make out, I would say draw some more bright drawings like your first one only with colors and better lighting

OH please god no, He'd have a field day with this.

I Can See you obviously go on the cartoony side of drawing, and one thing i think would benefit the style is bolder lines with vibrant colors.

Here's an update, started the final, its just pencil but I edited the lines to be darker.

I Doubt I'll Get in but I'll be damned if I don't give it a shot, here's a very rough uncolored image i drew in about 10 minutes it will be my base drawing follow the black lines incase you couldn't figure that out.
the chin is off yes I know, though any ideas for the background = very welcome

The Art forum Rules would be a good thing to read before you post.

Response to: Work your ass off Posted November 29th, 2009 in Art

with exception of work 2 that was the one thing I found to have character.

Response to: Work your ass off Posted November 29th, 2009 in Art

I would tell this guy to be more creative, everything he's posted has had no character, just knights, figures skeletons with mohawks all have been seen a billion times. I don't exactly have the best skills when it comes to drawing and coloring but I'd rather have fun with what I'm doing by drawing what comes from my head and what no one else does, with my own personality as appose to something everyone at one point draws. To me what this guy does is not art because he does it like a robot would, I doubt he really appreciates it, I think a five year old who draws a simple cat is arguably a better artist than some one who beats it into their head that they need to be a "master." but then that's my opinion.
This Guys Good but he needs to draw something unique then he'll earn my respect.

Oh Yeah Forgot give me any tips on what to do I want to know if anything needs fixing before going to pen.
I Darkened all the lines with EDIT so you guys could see them so its not that dark.

Response to: The Meat-heads By Jack Posted November 29th, 2009 in Art

Well Thanks, I like to use vibrant colors and have exaggerated characters, I can't do realism for Shit, and serious looking people just aren't my thing.

And Here's the start of the second picture where I still don't have enough room for the legs but fixed the head size.

Okay So Here's something I started out of boredom was originally gonna be just a head but then I realized it was too low on the paper and the body was too small, I want you guys to help with anything i missed on the edit lines, please don't tell me to do anything crazy fancy-pants, cause I have very limited resources as far as colors go.

King? Its a guy, this looks like a girl... but then that is just Anime. I would say give him a big 'ol bushy beard, or at least a mustache, all kings should have some for m of facial hair, and I think its mandatory for gods to have facial hair

Jack's Latest Posted October 23rd, 2009 in Art

Since school's started up again I haventbeen drawing as much, and I know I don't usually use color but I've been trying to find some colored pencils and this is the result of some improvisations due to limited resource, Yes the windows aren't fully colored in I know but I'm afraid to color in those areas cause it could rip as I just used regular printer paper(I couldn't find my old thread so I made this one)

Here's the almost final, just gotta draw something on the left side, I'm thinking a cross with a headless body nailed to it seeing as how the stop sign is on the other side. Open to suggestions, hurry though.
