Response to: Brink Discussion Thread Posted March 21st, 2010 in Video Games

I've been seeing this game peeking its head around the industry for a while now and it the style of the game looks pretty cool as does the whole size thing (Small medium large) but I believe that it is going to fail miserably in the story department, where its online all the time in an open world where some enemies are actual people, it sounds cool on paper but I fear it won't run as smoothly as they hope.

Challenges of Olympus Posted March 21st, 2010 in Video Games

So I beat the challenges of Olympus in God Of War III earlier today, it took me under 45 minutes to do, and my first thought was "HAHA YES I BEAT THEM!" but then I realized that I beat them, almost all on my first try. What the Hell, these weren't challenges the were more like tasks, The Challenges in the first two games were a hell of a lot harder, especially in the first those pissed me off to the point of rage quitting (Stage 8 & 10) but when you beat them it was beyond Satisfying, these pissed me off because they were so easy. So I want to know what your thoughts on these challenges are.

Response to: best game intro ever? Posted March 20th, 2010 in Video Games

God Of War III 'nuff said.

G.o.w/gears Psa Posted March 20th, 2010 in Video Games

Okay now since the launch of God of War III people have been talking a lot about "G.O.W" and on more than couple occasions I have noticed some confusion over the acronym "gow" a lot of seem to think that G.O.W means "Gears of War." Well it does not, GOW=God Of War; Gears=Gears Of War. God Of War came first, it gets the acronym so next time your going to abbreviate Gears of War please use "Gears" its 2 letters longer, I know but it can avoid a lot of confusion.

If you bothered to pay attention to the gameinformer you were reading you'd have noticed it was marked off with a section that said "GameInFARCEr"

i mean the guys fucking scary and the way he screams scared the shit out of me and the death scene was pretty scary too

Oh yeah I remember that level, god it pissed me off cause I couldn't beat it, i mustve been like 6.
As far as scary levels go I'd have to say the darker levels in Demon's souls are scary mostly because you can't see very far and a bigass enemy could be waiting to rape you.

Anywho, Without saying what has already been said; it could use a background and maybe give the horns some color, like an off white or something.

Arms are strange looking, face looks really flat as does helmet, the pocket on the shirt looks strangely placed, the gun's more of a stick, head shape is not very good: very blocky. It looks like he has nubs with leg extensions added on, his belt counteracts with the whole perspective, and his chest looks to have a giant tumor.
Post something that you've done recently to see if there's any improvement, then work from there.

Definitely Melting Crimson lance with Corrosive weapons their cries of agony are great. That and Mad Moxxi's epic boobage

Response to: Gordon Freedman vs Kratos Posted March 11th, 2010 in Video Games

Kratos is definitely more badass, if you were to never have played either of the games and saw a picture of Kratos and A picture of Dr. Freeman you would come to the conclusion in an instant, then once you hear Kratos' Voice it seals the deal. plus in terms of epic goatees Kratos also wins, legend has it that Kratos has killed many warlords with merely his facial hair.

Response to: Gordon Freedman vs Kratos Posted March 10th, 2010 in Video Games

You know after thinking about it further I have come to the conclusion that this is an illogical "who would win scenario" Kratos has magical powers, Enough Rage to rival... nothing to compare to. Gordon Freeman is a human, a scientist none the less. Sure he has a power suit but he's still nothing compared to Kratos.
A more logical discussion would be Freeman Vs Masterchief or Marcus Fenix. The purpose of these age old who would win questions is a matter of two people who's physical attributes are at least on the same plane of existence as eachother. Not Super-Soldiers Vs gods but Supersoldiers vs different supersoldiers.

Response to: The Vehicular Combat Genre Posted March 9th, 2010 in Video Games

David Jaffe (Twisted Metal/ God Of War 1) has announced that he's working on a new big game many speculate that its a new twisted metal and frankly that would be kickass. but the last great Vehicular combat game I played was either Jak X (Ps2) or Twisted metal head on: extra twisted edition (Ps2). and I honestly don't know why they went way, they were (and still are) an absolute blast to play, and can only be made better with online Deathmatches.

Response to: Gordon Freedman vs Kratos Posted March 9th, 2010 in Video Games

Gordon Freeman wears glasses.
Kratos tears apart the armies of the undead and gods.
Do the Math.

Not with either of these pieces, The 007 one looks to have potential but the mouth looks wide open, one foot's bigger than the other, further up the leg the shin juts out making it look like you were trying to draw a robot or something, the cigar looks out of place with the monochromatic style and its flat, the hand holding the gun looks like a pokeman's or something, and the eyes are just off and the hair doesn't fit James bond's character.
There isn't much to the other picture but that eye has a very strange slant and the ear looks pretty weird other than that there's nothing else.
You should try posting more drawings, like a complete character and then ask for criticism so that you'll get more constructive criticism than this.
