But, again, you can call dibs on ANY card I reject.

I asked if it was up for grabs or if Decky would be given another Shot, but IRRELEVANT Dibs on the fool.

Response to: The Tarot Card Collab! Posted December 13th, 2010 in Art

I asked before with no response so I'll ask again:
Is the Fool Taken. because Decky said he took it but then submitted something you said no to.

I'll let you take a stab at other cards but if you don't bring the quality up, I'm gonna have to refuse that option.

If that means the fools out I call it.

I don't think that's ever a good place to start. Your much better just using basic shapes from the start. An ellipse usually suffices for a head, once you get better you can try a circle with a trapezoid attached and other variations. I find when I'm drawing limbs it helps to draw circles where all the joints would be, changing the size of the circle depending on which one is closer.

Oh sorry it was wrong of me to assume that People don't think Like I do; when I think "stick person I think something along the lines of an oval for the chestcircles at the shoulders, lines for the arms (Circles at the elbows, trangles for hands) line for the body oval for the waist and sticks for the legs (cicles at the knees triangles at the feet)
Yeah so sorry for the confusion.

actually the primary penguins are black on their backs because when a predator looks down on them when they are swimming above the all that the predator will see the ocean floor which is black so the penguin blends.
and the reason their stomachs are white is so that when the predator is below it and looks up they see the white of the sun above the ocean and the white of the penguins belly blends better...

Yeah I know a lot of stuff about penguins... what of it?

Penguins are mostly black and live in the arctic, how does being blue make it more arctic than blending in with the landscape?

it just LOOKS more arctic. okay. Blue is a more arctic color than brown, and the animal doesn't really look like it would be an arctic animal unless it has a color scheme the says "Arctic such as blue and white. Penguins have distinguishing features that make them noticeably arctic creatures. and ther are some penguins that are blue and white.

Some advice for when you draw people: start with astick person, then do a basic outline, then do major parts of it, then details. Oh and spend more than ten minutes on it.
I expect at least a Tiny amount of cooperation from you when one of the regs gives you advice. but since a lot of the time you seem to ignore it it just makes you seem like your'e trolling and wasting our time and that's why people are kind of hostile toward you at times. and Quit trying to use computer programs to draw. you're not good enough yet to make it look worth the amount of time you apparently spend on them, just do Paper until you get it then maybe use the computer to touch up your hand drawn pics.

Response to: I am very confused... Posted December 8th, 2010 in Art

I can't really say making a drawing mean something deep mattters to me, if it looks cool it looks cool.
besides every thing that needs to be said has been said pretty much so it just seems redundant to me.

Scouting has nothing to do with reviews though. Anyone can leave an art review, even if you have no art in the portal.

Oh I was referring to a solution to all of the Crappy Mario bros and hentai shit in the portal, I read through about half of this thread and forgot about the main topic... yeah
