Hey everyone.

I put Neo Orb (a new game) on the portal today, but was out most of the afternoon so I didn't get to see people's replies. Some folks didn't know how to play, because the tutorial is the intro and they skipped it. Oops. So I thought I'd explain it here, in case anyone who tried it earlier was still confused.

You have to swap pieces from the sidebar to the main field to line up three in a row. But you aren't limited to ONLY the pieces that will make three disappear. You can keep swapping them out until you can make a chain/combo, if you want. But the pieces need switched from the side to the main field, that is the key.

I hope that clears up any confusion! Again, sorry about that. I hope you'll try it out again now that you have a better idea of what to do. :)

Sadly I don't have time to start from scratch (not to mention I suck at scripting) so I guess I'll put the idea on the backburner until something comes along.

Clearly at Bejeweled rip off, but it's more the direction I need.

I'm trying to make a simple puzzle game in Flash, just for fun. I have the idea already, and some art, but don't know where to begin on the actual "creation" end. Can anyone point me in a good direction?

It would be a grid-based puzzle game like Bejeweled or Jewel Quest. I looked around here and at Flash Kit, but I'm kind of stuck. Any help is very much appreciated!

The credits button is very broken, it goes to a blank white screen.

I can see the edges of the movie where they extend, I don't know why that is. (Like the bottom and top shows beyond the stage or something)

I think that's it... It looks good overall though!

(Oh also, I did the music for mine, which is why it is so crappy, so if you want to stick that in the credits feel free. And you should put "5 Shades Of will return..." or something, like in James Bond movie credits.)

Why don't we put up THIS one and then we can figure out the future ones, hmmm? =)

Also it was I (bad me!) who made up the random date. Because NO ONE WAS SAYING ANYTHING. So I just put something out there to get people talking again. It worked! But now seriously we need a final posting date. How quick can you finish 'er up, orb?

I always try to be as encouraging as I can because we artists need to support each other so we don't give up. (So far I think I've given up on art 13 times... But never for more than an hour!)

Thanks a lot! I've been working on the style for a few months. I'm finally starting to get a good grasp on the characters and making the comics look better (I think) each week.

I more recently added the thick black outlines around them. I don't know what sparked me to do that, but I like the effect.

Nope, they're called "Bonus Stages" because the main comics are labled Level 1, Level 2, etc. and these extra comics aren't main levels, just bonuses. It's based on video games, like the levels you'd play through.

It has the Cubetoons comic and will host reviews of game and art tutorials and stuff. A little different than FredtheMonkey.com (which I guess is what I'm known for around these parts.
