Well, id say thered be a bit more time needed to finish it; what with all the buildings having to be put together?

its gonna be very hard to combine traditional with new media in a convincing way...

Well either way, im re-doing a lot of mine, and my Bulbasaur/Ivysaur/Venusaur are out of the Collab, and those 3 slots are open again.
Also this W.I.P of Charizard has two eyes.
as you can see here; charizard clearly has only one eye....

I just watched Primer; A scifi/drama picture about a timetravel apparatus. It has to be one of the most catchy interesting movies I`ve seen in a while. Its quite complicated, requiring me to rewind certain scenes to whatch them again before I understood them. And I even whatched it fully awake during the afternoon.
in hindsight the idea of rewinding to rewatch certain scenes of the movie is very apt; you`ll understand why once youve watched it!
One reviewer said that "anybody who claims [to] fully understand what's going on in Primer after seeing it just once is either a savant or a liar." which kinda sums up its complexity.
Primer won the Grand Jury award of the 2004 sundance festival. And I would urge anybody with a somewhat philosophical interest to watch it.
The reason I brought it up here however is not its awesomeness; but its budget.
Remember that avatar discussion we had back when it was released? I would have never guessed this before reading it on wikipedia; but Primer was finished on a total budget of $7,000.-
that`s seven thousand United States Dollars.
What part of randomly appointed partner dont you guys get? Is it the hat? Its probably the hat.
They can be so confusing....
I never know when I should expect a rabbit to come out...
or a dove; imagine that....
anyways; IM IN!

Yeah I was wondering if I should add a hole for him; but since you brought it up ill add one. I also think Ill add a ng flag.
Were did you get the lines on the page, did you use a template? I ask because it would help me make something better then what i've posted.
Jonny posted a link to this
or you could download it big.
As with all drawings of building and stuff it helps to have some guides
Any suggestions for this one? if not; I think im finished.

I took the liberty of making a much larger grid for use at 640 by 320.
Here's the link to the dump for easy access.
If you make the single one a pattern; you can use the filler tool with it.
just thinking; shouldnt we have a set lightsource for the city one? otherwise itd become a bit of a mess

Oh, my friend upgraded to bigger wheels because they "ride better", I don't really notice the difference though. I don't know the specifications either.
I think this is my favorite shot of the bunch; I love how we can perfectly read the phuck aff text on the board; as well as the shoes which are just enough on screen. For your others you might want to pick some more interesting angles; they might allow you to capture the motion a bit better.

the roof thats over the door doesnt meet up with the rest of the roof properly;
if the small roof is croocked it shouldnt meet the big roof in a straight line

I agree with you; but those are awefully similar to op`s work....If you want to follow this path a bit further id suggest giving it a bit more of your own twist.
