Wade Fulp says: "be sure to only vote 0 on entries that break out guidelines or are complete and utter crap that you know the author put no effort into. Also 1 should only be used if an entry is complete and utter crap but has a slight amount of effort put into it and doesn't break any guidelines. 2, 3, 4, and 5 should be used to vote on legit submissions that don't violate any guidelines and have effort put into them, even if you don't like it."
I must say, I disagree. In reality, I ONLY use two numbers when judging Recent Entries: zero and five. I will tell you why.
If the submission is star wars editors cut, which consists of a stick figure being shot, I vote if a zero. When I see that its status is .24, I wonder, “Who the Fuck voted this a 1?” because I deserved a zero. Nevertheless, when I vote zero on many other things (which I consider wastes of bytes), they stick in the portal. BECAUSE PEOPLE VOTE ONE ON IT!!!! And I am the only person who votes zero.
So, I think that there should be only two buttons: a Pass and a Fail. With this new scoring system, Many more entries would be deleted, making more bandwidth space for the better quality ones.
