It's very rare that I begin and finish something solely on the 'puter. I guess I was feeling particularly masochistic or something when I did this. D:
It's made in Paint Tool SAI and I'd love ANY pointers or critique you have. :D
I was going through my old sketchbooks and found a character I used to love to draw. Here's a comparison, the original image on the right and my recent redraw on the left. C:

Yeah. :DThe thighs of the leg seem pretty iffy to me, and the abs drawn on the stomach doesn't give him a feel for abs because of how the costume yellow design doesn't curve along the abs.
This is a character of mine I wanted to draw as a yellow lantern for some reason. :P
I see how you mean, ZaneZorrow, thanks. I think they thighs look iffy because the head is a little on the large side and it sort of overpowers them. That and, on second glance, this very masculine creature has very feminine legs! D:
Here's something else I doodled up real quick. It's a character belonging to someone else that they wanted to see in my style. His name is Mosh! :D

Hey look, guise. It's some sorta hybrid bug dragon!
Hot damn, man. Your work is like a million different flavours of awesome all molded together into one and I'm loving it. My stuff is nothing in comparison to this. I'll just wander over to your deviantART page and throw you a watch... :D

Thanking ye kindly. I don't paint very often so you won't see a lot like that from me. Although I absolutely love painting... My most recent painting isn't as amazing as that moon one but here it is, anyhow. It's supposed to be all 'math is in nature and nature is beautiful' but it didn't really turn out how my brain envisioned it. And to make matters worse the picture I took is horrible because my scanner was too small but oh well. Far from the end of the world. =P
So I scanned a lot of my half finished shit littering my sketchbook like monstrous droppings and made a sketchdump. Whooooo.

Awwwfuck, I said man twice like a tool and you're a chick. My bad. ><
Ah pssh. I don't care. =P
And another monster thing, this time showing off my hideous attempt at using coloured pencils.
Derp, here's an alien dude I just drew. Design needs more refining, for sure, but I like the path it's taking thus far.

That means a lot man, thanks. My goal in life is to become a concept artist. I have a long way to go, I know, but I'm trying!
Here's another character of mine. This was actually one of my first attempts at taming that wild and majestic thing known as photoshop.
A monster I redrew from one of my old sketchbooks.
Here's the original concept from yeeeaaars ago. Necks? How do those pesky things work? http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f116/R akshiv/oldghoul.jpg?t=1288645511
I also do 3D shit so here's some of that, too:
Thanks for the welcome and the bit of critique. Mm, I know what you mean. It's hard for me to actually polish and finish a piece traditionally. I know how to start, and I know how to do most of the work, but when it comes to finalizing my mind just sort of blanks and runs cowering away. Hence a lot of sketchiness. I do almost everything in pen, and the second guy was coloured digitally. And that's not an eye, that's a big ole' hole in his head. =P
BUT thank you. Here's another finished piece of mine, a traditional watercolour with some acrylic thrown in for good measure:
This guy is a character from my novel. He's totally a vampire demon alien from another dimension. Aren't I original?
Well I've been a member of this site for quite a while and I enjoy trawling the forums so I decided to finally make an art thread of my own, the purpose being to get some good criticism. Because I don't get enough of it. So feel free to point out any gaping flaws or inconsistencies you see in my work. :)
I guess I'll start with this dragon: I drew it as a gift for a friend over at deviantArt. Crappy and lazy background is, well, crappy and lazy.
