Pivot Stickfigure Animator A free stickfigure animator. Only exports as GIFs though, and is very bad. OK for beginners though..
Pencil Don't know much about it, but I think it's free.

ToonBoom Used less for internet animation, more for TV.

How much smoothing do you use when using the brush tool in Flash?

My friends who use Flash use between 40 and 60, whereas I prefer 0-20. I feel it gives me more freedom.

So, what do you prefer, Newgrounds?

Well, I definately remember that I was able to do it on something, whether it was IE or Firefox, I don't recall. However, I can't see how to do it in Firefox right now, perhaps it was a feature that they got rid of, I'm not sure.

Either that or it's the 1 thing where IE is better than Firefox.

I've had a collab (which I set up, not just joined) which missed out on Underdog of the Week by something like 0.05....And it had a score of c. 3.65 at the time, so it wasn't one of those Underdog awards with a score of 0.67 and review score of 4.2.

- Your internet connection may be too slow. Even preloaders have to load, but they are generally really small.

- The most likely thing is your Flash Player. Try reinstalling it, just in case.

- Newgrounds runs on Java a lot, but I would have thought that they wouldn't need Java for playing flashes.

- It might be your web browser, but I doubt it.

I think there's a rule that you can't make 2 posts in a minute, but I might be wrong..it's something along those lines...

I'm a big fan of your art, and I don't really think that it needs much done to make it better..

- The ground looks weird, and doesn't quite fit with the rest of the picture. It looks too solid or something, I can't quite put my finger on it..

- 'From Within Comes Inspiration' doesn't sound as catchy as 'Inspiration Comes From Within'

A question for mods:

After the initial novelty at being able to lock threads and whatnot, does moderation become a burden, something that you have to do, or you'll be demodded? Or is it still a great honour, to bear that golden aura with pride?

It's best to get a mixture of both. FBF is generally smoother and better, but a lot of stuff can be done with tweening, and it's much quicker.

You don't need to delete it. Just click the edit button in the flash submissions page and reupload the flash from there.

But it doesn't go through judgment, so if it a majorly improved version, it won't get reviews or votes on the improvement.

Note also that you cannot delete a submission if it has more than 400 votes.
