To add to this, there are some songs that I have listened to which featured a long instrumental part, but, partnered with the vocals before it, you don't even notice that you have been listening to an instrumental part until it's almost over. I think that is how it should be. The vocals will always be central to a song, due to the want of musicians to express their views and feelings, but it does help if they can blend in and out with the instruments.

From about Level 7, I wanted abstraction. However, after a couple of unanswered PMs and e-mails to Tom and Wade, no change. Then, the next time I tried, I found out that somebody had taken the name in between the last attempt and now. So now, I want something else, which I won't say, because it will result in somebody stealing it..

I'm really not sure, because when I calculated my BA, I got the following results:
BA from top 3 submissions: 3.86
BA from all submissions: 3.59294118
BA shown: 3.86

However, it certainly doesn't make sense in your case..

I love the concepts for #1 and #6.
For #2, the two characters look like slightly different styles, and whether or not it's intentional, it doesn't really work..
In relation to #7 (even though it is labeled #6), it doesn't quite look like a wink, more like she just has one eye closed, maybe because of the position of the eyebrow, I dunno...

If people enjoy your work, which I'm sure they do, then that is the point. I am happy if my submission gets even one favourite, let alone my total of 41 favourites. That's what keeps me going at least

If your not content with the fact that people liked your flash due to the concept, rather than the artwork/animation, surely that should be enough. It proves that you're great at concepts, and should keep on going.

Maybe you just enjoy animation for the purpose of animating..I know I do. It's a way to vent your emotions, and creative abilities. The best I've ever achieved is a decent score, nowhere near front page or even Daily 10th.

Anyway, the moral of the lecture is: "Be happy with what you have. :)"

To me, this is a place to call home. When you have such a massive number of people on the BBS, its only too easy to just blend into obscurity, but with the NGPD, and the far smaller population, it feels that what you say is noticed more, and therefore matters that little bit more.

It also encourages me to B/P far more, with the use of light competition. B/ping has always been the stat that I haven't done so well in, due to the fact that it takes so long to level up, and it's fairly tedious, but this has made me B/P so much more, and I appreciate that :)

I've never seen Heroes, but apparently they did an episode set it the Irish city nearest me, with terrible Irish accents, so I might try and get to that, depending on how easily I can get around to watching that.

According to NG Log, my newest stat is Top 10,000 in B/P, but to me, that's not really an achievement...

Well, you fit the agenda in terms of rank (Security Guard - Police Captain), and post quantity (50 postst), but you need quality to join here, as decided by almighty master TailsPrower.

From what I've seen, you're borderline acceptable. Your posts are generally of fairly low quality, but you do often bring something to the discussion. The length could be improved upon, but, you have got exceptions to the rules. So, I would just about let you on as an apprentice, and saw how you got on, but, as I said previously, it's not my choice.

If you're not quite sure how the whole NGPD system works, check out this (first post) and this. To sum it up (although do read it too), you have a one week apprenticeship, and after that time, if you still want to continue, and the club still want to have you, you will be inducted as a full-blown member. As mwmike said in a previous post to a previous applicant, the week goes by much quicker than you think.

As spunit262 said, you can't put multiple images in one post, because that would encourage spamming.

You could do the things previously suggested, such as placing multiple images in one image, or link to the images instead. To do this, just upload them to ImageHost, ImageBucket, or any of the many others. Then, use the link to feature in NG to link to it.
