As for coming here for the social interaction, I'd say that's at least party true. I don't post a lot because I feel like like I'd be overshadowed by the people who are regulars and post often. But then again, I'm not really outgoing in general, so it's just my opinion.
Mostly because writing does not judge and is limited only as far as your imagination goes. Writing for me is not only for a little fun thing to do with some short stories and attempted poetry, but a way to release my thoughts out of my mind. Pen and paper, unlike people, do not judge. So for me its not just a creative outlet, it's also helpful to sort out thoughts.
I happened to stumble across this gem of a site back in early 2006 when I though stick figure animations were hot shit. I made an account back then, but I don't use that one anymore because of all the cringeworthy material I posted in the forums and wrote for reviews. I was a lot more innocent at 11 I guess.
Aphex Twin - Selected Ambient Works Volumes 85-92
Listened to a good chunk of Aphex Twin's discography studying for finals the other day. This is probably close to my favorite work from them (Although the Richard D. James album and Selected Works Volume 2 were also great)
Good ambient listening for y'all.
Blue Moon Belgian White probably would top the list. I'm not really a big beer fan in general. Any "light" beers make me wanna gag.
Makes me wonder who has enough time on their hands to take a picture and who would want to be in the picture.
I enjoyed it. It went a pace not too fast where I couldn't understand it but not too slow were it would be boring. Would be interested to read the rest.
Figured I would put my two cents in.
I grew up Lutheran, and nearly the whole church was opposed to homosexuality. That being said, many members of my former church were also scared of letting members of minorities in (blacks, asians..etc which is crazy.) I left this church a few years ago to become a non-denominational Christian, because if you get down to the point, you really have to ask yourself, would Jesus turn anyone away?
I have not read the whole bible, but I have looked at quotes commonly used to define a certain churches position on homosexuality, and from what I have read, hardly any of them have to do really with homosexuality but rather "sin" in general. That being said, I am just one human being with one interpretation of one book, so I do believe that people can take a simple sentence and morph it into a thought/rant/tirade/belief of their own.
Going back to a previous point, if the leader of a church reads the bible himself/herself, he/she interprets it in their own way, and then they preach about what they read or they thought, and naturally that may not coincide with other members beliefs, but to them, if the pastor of the church is saying it, it must be the correct interpretation, right? Wrong.
I would say read the bible passages most commonly used to put up a fight for/against homosexuality, then come to your own conclusion. It's like the saying "don't always believe what you find on the internet.." because sometimes in may not be 100% true,
While I do think Ron Paul would make an excellent president, the problem is is that most of the states with the delegates (Notice I said SOME) to the RNC are typically more moderate, like California or Illinois, who will probably vote for Romney (Who to me is a fox in sheeps clothing, just like Obama. And I can say that for sure because I was born/live in MA).
Gingrich will probably narrowly win Florida on his second wave of support. I would say now that Rick Perry is out Ron Paul and Newt Gingrich would be the ones to watch in Texas, and other central-south states. Santorum is essentially finished, even though he won Iowa. I think in the end it will be a close call between Gingrich and Romney, but I still would like to see Paul win.
Ah shit. I got the same model your thinking of getting, I've had to replace the screen twice, probably going on a third (none of them my fault) and as an added bonus had to get two new MagSafe chargers. The ends fray really easily. I wouldn't mind it if the chargers were $20 and screens were $50 but when they are $60 and $150 to repair each, quite frankly it ain't worth it.
Gaming also sucks on it. VMware Fusion is decent if you wanna run Windows, Parellels is total trash and so is BootCamp.
To me, it is not really worth it at the end of the day with all the costs and shit.
