I agree with a good 70% of what you're saying.
To begin, I am agnostic. And as I've seen as of recently the christian religion has been sterotyped to a fault. Yes, there are assholes withing their ranks. However, I've met a LOT more christians who are nice, and don't judge people for who they are or what they believe. So yeah, there are bad christians, but the ones that match the stereotype are rarer than you may think.
And the environment thing... well there's a few reasons I do not really care
1.I haven't seen concrete proof as of yet. Mostly speculation and some light science involved.
2.They're going about it all wrong. Yeah, cars pollute. Anyone can tell ya that. But if they want to have a bigger impact they should try phasing out the coal plants and build nuclear or something else that is a little more clean. but that makes too much sense I guess.
3.I cling to my cars. Anyone who will try to take that passion away from me forcefully should go suck a tailpipe.
4.As seen in #3, I REALLY hate being told what to do. I would have actually gone with the green thing if they would be less bitchy and forceful about it.
All in all, they don't want to fix jack shit, they just want to control our lives.
