It's that time of year again where we eagerly await the next release of FL Studio and this year is no different. Expect V8 in early March 2008.

The biggest addition to this version will be a cut down version of Synthmaker. If you haven't used this program before then you are in for a treat. It allows you to create your own dashboards, synths and effects. The version provided with FL won't allow you to save as exe or vst formats. This means that you can't sell your creations but it will mean that you can share with other registered FL users. It will come with a lot of premade modules already so don't worry if you don't fancy getting into the programming side. Give it a year and you will probably be spoiled for choice.
