What you have to do is respect the religion and the people in it.
My mother is a jehovah witness and tried, while i was a child, to convert us into 'witnesses' too.
We were normal christians before that celebrated chrismas and birthdays until my mother changed. I hated it but after growing up...seeing how happy my mom was and how well the witness community treated her. They helped her with anything. From food all the way to using another "brother's" technique like construction to help repair/maintaince.

My mom is the nicest woman i know. I dont think there is any hard in the faith because i have studied it too. I dont agree with many of their ideas but try to study it and then express your opinion with your father. Tell him "i dont think this religion is for me" in a respectful manner.

I know alot abou tthe situation you're in so if you need advice, ill try my best.

I had 5 friends die this year...i never cried for any of them or went to their funerals. I still dont think i have came to terms with their deaths. Im still in a bit of shock. If i were to see them one last time, i know i would collapse from the grief and pain from their passing. Another thing i noticed too was i NEVER watch movies and cry...the last sad movies that i've seen i've been alot more emotional towards them which is awkward for me. I also think this may have something to do with my friends passing away. Regardless, time keeps ticking aned life must move on.

One day i will pay my share and visit their memorials. I do miss them.

I was just about to say this. Saw Zero Day on netflix... its a good movie and would recommend it to everyone. Lets you see inside the mind of these murderers intentions and ideas. They 'truely' changed the world, regardless if it was in a negative manner.

Do they sell newground costumes in halloween stores? If not then probably not. EVEN if i was to dress up as a newgrounds iconic character... none of my friends would even know what the hell i was because none of them even know/heard of newgrounds.

I personally like rap and never heard "skinhead" music due to growing up around more of an urban setting. People around here listen to alot of mainstream music. I enjoy it as well.
