Don't sweat it dude, that's a really easy mistake to make. Creating tanget objects like that, expecially without color. It's cool, keep drawing, don't let my crappy observation on that discourage you. In the future, if you have to draw something similar, you might try using bolder line of foreground objects, in this case his head, it helps the reader know 'this is more important' and they'll kind of understand it's in the front. Do some tests, you'll see what I mean. Stay cool man.

When I first came to the art forums I didn't feel too welcome to be honest. Besides a few people who already knew my work and insisted I stick with it. Since then I feel like I've kinda made a few friends here, and that is nice. I ran my own little crit thread for a while and tried to add to the forum. Helping is fun, growing is good, etc.

Now, let me say, I take whoever's side opposite of ReNaeNae, she's been all up in my grill ever since I showed up. So pretty much everything she says is wrong, even if she changes her mind. Sometimes telling someone the rules is backseat modding, and sometimes it's trying to help. Depends on what med she's coming off that day.

I try to be friends with everyone, i think some seriously lightning up around here could really help. Rules are important, but I'd love to be able to discuss some stuff without treating the place like a gallery. Anymore I just come, post my art, and leave. Sometimes I'll look at a friend's thread and that is about it. Just my two cents, continue you riot.

I just kept drawing and making contacts, eventually it became a job. It isn't easy, but I don't have any advice other than work hard, constantly study and try to better yourself. And be diverse, don't specialize in anything.
