Depending on what type of job you are applying for, having a cover letter that shows you are interested and motivated to do the job can certainly help you. Which is why I use iTunes now to import my CDs. But even then sometimes it gets them wrong (not actually the fault of iTunes but of the Gracenote CD database which I believe just about anyone can contribute to.) All you have to do is rename the songs yourself.
