Here is my little problem: I have a movie clip that I play when keyPress<Right> is invoked (right key is pressed). well, that's all fine and dandy, but I want the movie clip to gotoAndStop(1) when the key is no longer being pressed. Is there any syntax that I can use to do this?

hello all,

I am interested in making a side scrolling shooter (think Lifeforce or Gradius) and was wondering if any of you know a place where i can get some tutorials on how to create a game like this. Ive checked Flashkit and a couple of others but thiere tutorials cover how to make it mouse driven, but i want mine to be controlled by the keyboard. Im currently Using Flash MX to make this game as well.

Any help would be appreciated.
