So, any info on how the animation/layout is going so far though? If its going to be on the front page it really ought to have the visuals to match the (truly amazing) audio choices.

what kinda animations would you like me to whip up?

Response to: Motion Tween vs Classic Tween. ? Posted July 27th, 2011 in Animation

I was trying to find the reasons for using motion tween over classic tween and i could not find one. Everything motion tween offers can be done with other tweening methods. Adobe was unwise to introduce motion tween, it is just so flawed.
Classic tween FTW

the pretender- foo fighters
forgotten- linkin park

It's called sleeping in the bed you've made. Just because the organizer happens to be in the competition he should not be allowed to abuse the power of extending it for his own good (even if it benefits more teams than his)

I mean, isn't this competition seriouse?

Arent you the guy who is up his own ass? No one likes you mate, you should be thankful for the deadline being extended. Its his tournament so he makes the rules.

How i beleive we shuld go about this is like this.
For every animation we have a position rotation.
POSITIONS
Person1-LeadAnimator/Writer as well
Person2-Lead Writer/Storyboard (to keep their take on the story.)
Person3-Animatic/ Animation Timing (Sounds must match. In charge of getting sounds.)
Person4-Organizer/Leader
Person5-CharacterDesign and Effect Artist

So what does the UltraMagnetix people think?
Honestly I think Falz needs to be in charge of the intense movements of a character he is great with that stuff!
I think TeraBiter would be the best for animatic and effects. 3D stuff you do.
I think PivotXXD should team with me on more character based animation. and humor writing.
I also can write intense stories I'm the best writer in my class :D (more like grade but im being modest.)
I think FurryNG shuld do effects AND writing

Love ya <3
-Josh

yeah Im cool with the 3d effects and background. It's kind of my specialty I guess. I can add sound effects while Im at it unles anyone is passionately against that idea. Im more than happy in this project to just concentrate on my aspects and let you guys take care of youre field, but if i think something is done to a low standard I will offer to improve it for the sake of the competition.
Also arent you a judge? Has no one pointed out yet that the results could turn out bias because youre in a team and youre judging?

pro animator? Doesn't look like it...

also @fallz- how are we going to do this? My suggestion is we all contribute ideas, then you storyboard, I animate, then Jomilex edits and adds detail. That's just a suggestion. (Any more detail and we should pm)

Response to: Sir Belfin Series - Need Animator! Posted June 9th, 2011 in Collaboration

nah forget it. im not animating this as a race to compete with someone else. The other guy can have the job.

Response to: Sir Belfin Series - Need Animator! Posted June 8th, 2011 in Collaboration

if i'm not needed That's fine. Im never out of work. Your project is the third I have taken on this month

the question is: is the other guy better than me?

Response to: How to go about animating this? Posted June 8th, 2011 in Animation

It could be like an interview type thing that flashes to parts in his normal day to some of the problems he has. A bit like how they present modern family

Response to: A collection of Skits Posted June 7th, 2011 in Writing

look im sorry I said no to your script. The only reason is that Im working flat out on my own series at the moment. I can make an animation out of one of your scripts but it will take time. By time im talking months, and you would have to be very patient. I may chose a different one that would be quicker to make.

sory
I even baked you a cake with srawberry sprinkles.

does this mean youre not going to submit the colab. Or does it mea your not taking in any more entries?

Response to: Artist Versus Artist Tournaments Posted June 2nd, 2011 in Animation

Ill enter as an intermediate. check my page I have two submissions over 3.00. Also does this mean I would be teamed with an advanced animator and a beginner animator? Id love to work with falz333. after seeing his animation sample he looks like an animating beast.

I'd like to work on this. Even willing to work alongside terabiter if he wants.

Do you have character designs yet?

It would be great to work with you. Upon reading this i drew down my fist impressions. Just to get the ball rolling...

My favorite bits of the script are when he is making his speach about drugs. I found that hilarious (although ive got my work cut out for me lip synching)
Also the bit when he was imprisonned was funny.
One problem I had was with the crowd speech. When the crowd read out a line they would say "crowd says:....." Maybe it would be better to have a muffled crowd sound effects and random outcries from single people in the crowd because usually crowds dont synchronise what they say.

Also I think there's a risk of losing views from the upper case guy. I guess it's an aquired taste.

great work. Tell me what you think should change -if anything- about the two main characters.

I read the script and I enjoyed it.
But the sound files did not open and when I pasted them into the URL they did not work either. Could you send me them in a different way?
If i find they are good sound quality and well executed, i will give it a go to try and make an episode or two.
good job.
