I recall, when first starting to animate, hearing legends. Almost Urban-myth sounding tales about how flash will only export a pre-set number of frames. Not unlike Bigfoot, I didn't rule out the idea as entirely impossible, but I figured the problem was so incredibly far away that it was something I never needed to worry about, let alone fear. Also like Bigfoot, little did I know it was an entity that I would one day come face to face with, and an awe-inspiring battle would ensue.
So long story short, I've recently completed animating a cartoon of truly epic length, only to find out I can't export it due to the Flash frame number export limit. Crazy, huh?
I've been trying to gather opinions from as many different flash artists as possible to figure out a way to deal with the problem. Obviously there IS a way around it, as we've seen in epic cartoons like...

...which goes well over 15 minutes. An answer I've heard quite a bit is to put animation into a single movie clip symbol.
Anyone have experience in this field? It would absolutely break my heart to have to chop up my cartoon into 2 parts and submit them separately
