Response to: Newgrounds vs Kongregate Posted December 6th, 2010 in General

Kongregate has a better layout and is better organized, games have scores closer to what they should have, and it's just much easier to navigate and find what you're looking for. There are also chat rooms, but half the people in them are literally retarded.

Newgrounds is filled with mostly spam/garbage, and finding good things once they're off the newest 50 submissions list or top 50 list is very time consuming, or just impossible. Newgrounds does have movies and art, but I really don't care about either of those.

I prefer Kongregate, but I come to newgrounds to check the newest submissions for something good that I might not see ever again anywhere else.

9 or 10. Don't plan on smoking ever again though.

Why the hell would you ever want to use a weapon like a baseball bat or a sword? One scratch and you're fucked, so why would you even let yourself get that close? Stick to using a gun, one shot in the skull and they're down.

The reason it has an insane amount of everything is because your body isn't going to absorb most of it, unlike the stuff in say a fruit.

Response to: Dammit for ratings! Posted November 4th, 2010 in Video Games

The problem isn't the ratings, it's your parents. Personally, I only play games rated EC (early childhood) that way I know I'm learning good values.

The game was excellent, except for the combat. I could not stand chasing around enemies for 10 minutes.

Response to: the best WTF moments in video games Posted September 18th, 2010 in Video Games

Playing GTA: SA, was driving through one of the small towns with police chasing me, and there was a police helicopter in the ground. All you could see was the blades spinning, the helicopter actually chased me around through the ground. Really strange.

Why would you memorize 6 words instead of just pemdas? It's much easier to remember just 1 word compared to 6.

Why not just play RCT3? It's the same game, just better in every single way. It's also going to be much easier to find.

Response to: Are reviews too hard on games? Posted August 21st, 2010 in Video Games

No, it's just personal opinion, and they usually increase the score if it's popular.
For example, Halo 3: ODST, one of the worst games I've ever played, Gamespot gave it a 9/10.
While RollerCoaster Tycoon 3, one of the best games I've ever played, only got only a 7.8/10.

The only way to get a real good idea on how good a game is, is to read multiple reviews from the players, and not the paid reviewers.

Right, just like Starcraft 2.
Just like the $50 expansions for Starcraft? How does no one know that's the price for them?

The ones that are not even out, and therefor, not required to play. Plus if you've ever played the starcraft 2 campaign, you'll know why it's worth paying that much for the expansion which includes a new campaign and other things.

Response to: Real-Time Strategy games? Posted August 20th, 2010 in Video Games

I love RTS games, but only in the campaigns. I can't stand playing team vs team, it ends up just being luck on whether you made the right units to fight the enemy's. Starcraft/warcraft is amazing simply because of custom maps, you can turn an RTS game into pretty much ANYTHING. It was a starcraft that spawned TD games, and that's just an example of whats been made.

Response to: Fucking TV emergency broadcast's Posted August 8th, 2010 in General

I never understood the point in these warnings. They either tell you it's raining, or it's windy. Not like you couldn't figure that out by looking outside. Obviously if its very windy there could be a tornado, and if there is a lot of rain it may flood; these things people can figure out by themselves. And then of course they interrupt whatever you're watching, even when the warning is for 100 miles away.

Fuck steam, just one of my warcraft characters has 161 days, 23 hours, of play time. Which is 3887 hours.

Response to: The funniest way to kill a fly. Posted July 21st, 2010 in General

Usually flies get stuck at windows, so that's the best time to get them. Grab an empty plastic bottle and trap the fly inside, find a spider web, open the bottle with the opening towards the web, watch the fly go into the web and get instantly attacked by the spider. The flies completely give up once they hit the web, they know it's over.

Response to: should i return to WoW? Posted July 11th, 2010 in Video Games

I'd say don't. I quit back in January after they started to add in all the items for real money. I used to raid 4 days a week and the instances become so boring that you end up really only playing for the fun interaction with guild mates. From what I've read, addons have now completely removed thought and challenge from the boss fights(they now can add big bright colored circles in safe/dangerous areas on the ground), and the PvP is still garbage.

If you haven't even played in this expansion then the content should keep you occupied for a month or two.

Response to: Bringing a laptop to the army Posted July 9th, 2010 in General

For boot camp, you can't bring pretty much anything. On active duty, I don't see why they would care, and I highly doubt they even check through the files. If you can't bring it with you, you can always get one once you're on base.

Response to: Spiders Posted July 4th, 2010 in General

Theres a spider guarding the upper corner of my door. To show my appreciation I caught a fly and threw it into his web, he went straight to it and 3 hours later there was no fly left. He then disassembled his web, surrounded himself in a somewhat new shield of webs, and has been waiting up there 3 days just burning off his last meal. He's pretty cool, and we're best buds now.

Response to: How often do you wear the same... Posted June 13th, 2010 in General

I've got 5 shirts, and 6 pairs of pants. I never wear the same shirt two days in a row, but pants I'll wear 3 days in a row if i feel like it. I wash them whenever I feel like they need it, which is about every week. I really doubt people give a shit if they notice I only wear a few different shirts, and if they do have a problem with it, I really don't care.

If I didn't sleep in my clothes I'd probably be fine washing them once a month.

Response to: Got The Bsod Again...the Fix Posted May 27th, 2010 in General

So your "fix" for any BSoD is to wipe your hard drive and reinstall windows. Yeah, couldn't be hardware related. Like when my video card was bad, it had nothing to do what was on the hard drive.
