I'm not trying to bash on Marijuana here, not at all actually. I smoke fairly often when I have free time away from work and school.

However, I would like to say something about the whole addiction thing. Personally, I don't think any drug is actually addictive. It has to do with the will power of the user. Sure the FDA, doctors, whatever can say all they want that Tobacco is addictive because of Nicotine, Cannabis is mentally addictive, e.t.c.

I can tell you right now that I can quit both "drugs" right now if I wanted to. I've done it before and can do it again. But I have many friends who couldn't do that for the life of them. Two I can tell you right now have absolutely no power of their addiction gene. When one of them had to go on probation for Cannabis possession, he began smoking that incense shit. Same for the other kid when he got a job that drug tested.

I'm not trying to say that the "drugs" themselves don't play a part in addiction. I'm just saying that a majority of it lies in the user.

Response to: So I actually watched "Glenn Beck" Posted August 29th, 2010 in Politics

I agree with some of the posters in this thread that Glenn Beck is more or less an actor and gets a little imaginative in his political views. Although, you can't deny that the man DOES say a good bit of truth in his shows. He digs up the scoop on the majority of all politicians and none of it is usually falsified or exaggerated.

As far as him being a Libertarian, I don't agree with that at all. I'd consider him a true Republican. (Not Conservative)

My family earned their abundance of money through hard work and schooling.

I will be damned if some Communist piece of shit tells us we need to "contribute to society". Screw society. You either bust your ass in school and make a earnest living, or you fuck off and live in the Lower-class for the remainder of your life puffing on cigarettes and drinking cheap liquor.

My money is MY money.

South Park is a terrible cartoon. Your mother is doing a good thing.

Go read some books instead of watching inane cartoons little boy.

Well, most Android phones already come with a browser, so why would we need an app for it?

Unless it makes flash animations play at decent frame rate.

The entire point of an app is for ease of use and NOT having to use the web browser. That's like saying you can go to Facebook on your web browser... why make an app for it?

Because of simplicity and convenience. That's why.

A flash portal app for Android? I can't wait to see the day.

Unless the new leveling system is different?
The requirement to get to level 60 hasn't changed since Pimp reached it. We will find out in 14 days if there can be more than one Level 60 user.

Also, FYI: In the old leveling system there could be any number of Level 30 users, as long as all of them had the same amount of Exp.

Yes, that's exactly what I was trying to say. Considering the fact they would never have equal experience because Pimp would continue to deposit.

From checking the levels page, I see now what the requirements are.

Now we'll have to open another discussion in a few years if Pimp manages to reach 100,000 experience

Pimp was the highest, and always would be, the highest level you could achieve. Because the level is set by them as their experience increases.

Response to: Another pimp? Posted August 28th, 2010 in General

There is no way to achieve the highest level once somebody gets there.

Pimp now sets the Experience points required in order to be level 60. Every time Pimp deposits, it increases.

Do you see how it goes?

I'm looking for primarily a Waffles.fm invite, or What.CD if anybody is member of either site.

I've been a member of Demonoid for a good 3 years, as well as BitGamer and I seed as much as I can on both sites. Although it is a bit frustrating trying to seed consistently on BitGamer.

Will gladly provide ratios to those who are real about the offer.

This is really not shocking news. Every dictatorship/one-party government under the sun has forms of Concentration Camps. This is how they maintain power. Wiping out all and any who oppose.

Hell, the CIA even has camps located in Afghanistan! The prisoners there wish they could be gassed to death rather than undergo the torture they have to deal with.

Well he was sort of correct to an extent. Look at the majority of Germans that settled in Texas. They refused to learn English, thus creating an entire dialect of German referred to as Texas German. While I'm not condoning his views immigration, yet, you have to admit that when you move to a country where the majority of the population speaks a different language from yours, you need to adapt.

I'll use the influx of Hispanic immigrants as an example. The legal language of California and Arizona is English. Would it be wrong to say that these immigrants need to learn this language? Absolutely not.

The Swastika is not just a symbol of Nazism at all my friend. It has been around for a loonggg time.

Actually the term "Swastika" is actually Indian, Sanskrit to be precise. It is still commonly used by Buddhists and Hindus as a sign of life and prosperity.

The German term for the sign is actually "Hakenkreuz". It was more commonly referred to as Swastika by Nazi Germany because of it's Aryan origins.

So to sum this up, if the Swastika is used politically, then there is a problem. Religiously is a totally different story. Just thought I'd clear this up. Let alone that Buddhists and Hindus position the symbol completely different from the Nazi form...

What are you talking about? You can erect a cross or whatever the hell you want on private property.

As for the court ruling the police memorial unconstitutional.. eh, I can see how the problem arises with that. However, the police work under the government and they aren't immune to the laws although cops commonly have the misconception that they are.

OMFG.

Okay, the article states the kid had puncture wounds on his head and then it goes on to say that the man is a horrible pet owner. Did this liberal dipshit who came up with this crap ever think that the dog probably had blood around it's mouth? If you get a puncture wound in your head, it bleeds.. A LOT.

Maybe this dog had a history of this kind of behaviour and this was its last straw. I fully condone that man's actions; I would have slit that dog's throat and left its corpse in the park.
