At 11/16/11 09:32 AM, BrAddErZ958 wrote: Does anybody else agree with what me and a few friends were saying about Recon?

I liked Recon much better in Bad Company 2 when they were equipped with C4. That being said, I do like how Support has C4. It makes it easier because you can always replenish ammo. The only drawback to that being Recon now has two less perks than BC 2. Those two being mortars and C4.

As far as contributing to the team, if you're playing with a squad using mics you can easily call out enemy positions to teammates. From a sniper's position you normally have a good view of everything happening on the battlefield.

The one good aspect about the Recon class is the spawn points and motion sensors. If you equip an ACOG scope you can keep up with the squad and help out in tight situations.

Going back to what I said previously: Aside from C4, I also wish Recon was equipped with claymores I find it unnecessary that Support is equipped with C4. After making a few kills or replenishing ammo, I get my ass moving when I'm Support. I don't know about everyone else, but I don't camp much with Support unless capturing objectives.

Well considering Kansas City is going to have to use their back up QB for the game tonight, I don't see them winning. Even though the Patriots defense isn't all that great.

New England has the rest of their games set out pretty good for them. Definitely one of the easiest schedules.

Haha, man I totally agree with you. That scenario is getting wayy to drawn out. Why she thought it was a good idea to run into the woods in the first place is a mystery to me. To top it off, Rick even told her the correct direction to run when he originally found her and she managed to screw that up too. I mean c'mon.

On a side note, I'm glad Shane put some sanity back into Andrea's head. Teaching her how to shoot and them screwing each others brains out. Hopefully she'll stop being a depressed burden on everybody.

Response to: Your first anime series? Posted November 21st, 2011 in General

Pokemon, Dragon Ball (Not DBZ until after), and Yu-Gi-Oh were the first three I really got into. I stopped watching Pokemon first out of all of them. It got entirely too childish and repetitive for my tastes.

I've literally watched all Dragon Ball and all DBZ. Never got into the Dragon Ball: GT series. Although, the Dragon Ball Z movies were fantastic.

I'm pretty sure that is what most of the walkers consisted of. I know for certain that one of the walkers trapped in the barn is(was) Herschel's son. The remaining have to be either relatives, or former inhabitants. Probably keeping them cooped up with some misguided sense a cure will be created.

Doesn't help much considering their flesh begins to deteriorate. No cure will do anything for full-fledged Gangrene.

Great win for the Eagles. You probably don't get that one too often.

I highly doubt they will make it to the playoffs, though. Green Bay is looking absolutely amazing. Especially with the performance they had against Tampa.

Response to: Why are taxes viewed as a bad thing Posted November 20th, 2011 in Politics

Op, you can tax all you want to, but no amount of logical tax income is going to overcome overspending (Deficit Spending). If you earn less than you spend, you run out of money. I'm sure you can agree with that.

Our government establishes loans with other countries to pay them back for borrowing money. These debts have been continuously rising for the past 12 years. This extravagant spending started during George W. Bush's first term. It then doubled his second term and has maintained the same amount under Barack Obama. Obama has no plans to discontinue this track either.

Response to: Syrian Revolution to Civil War Posted November 20th, 2011 in Politics

Syrian will go into a Civil War soon. If the revolutionaries can garnish any support is what I have been wondering. Most countries, with the exception of Turkey, haven't been very outspoken about it. I know that Turkey is sheltering many people, including many of the military defectors.

If you look at the Middle East and North Africa as a whole you see a pretty common pattern. The majority of the countries have always existed under some form of Totalitarianism. Whether it be Dictatorship, Monarchy, e.t.c.

From what I hear Chinese is a beautiful place and society isn't some super repressed dystopia. Especially in major cities such as Hong Kong and Macau.

I've never been but it is one place I will visit someday. That being said, it's in a close tie with Thailand as a travel resort!

Response to: What phone do you have? Posted July 20th, 2011 in General

I currently have the Motorola Devour (Verizon). This phone has been discontinued for quite some time now and I wasn't even aware until last month when I stopped receiving updates.

I'm planning on getting the Moto Droid 3, but I need to save up before I can invest in one. From what I've seen, it'll be worth the $150 in the long run. I especially like the physical keyboard. Not to mention the dual-core processor which was practically unheard of until a few months ago.

What phone do you have?

Changing my NAT settings to Open did nothing unfortunately.

The only remaining boxes I have left to uncheck are Port Scan and DoS Protection. I feel that these are not posing much of a threat either.

It seems as though I am going to have to get another router if I want this to work out.

I just don't like the idea of not having the firewall running at all. Hopefully I can put some permissions into it to change that.

Linux Mint and Wireless Network(s)? Posted July 13th, 2011 in General

Hopefully some of you who are Linux savvy can help me out on this one...

Just recently installed Linux Mint 9 Xfce (It has long term support) and everything is working fine, including my wireless adapter. That being said, for some reason I cannot pick up the signal to my home wireless network. I can pick up both of my neighbors routers, but mine doesn't appear anywhere.

I've went into the terminal and typed up "iwlist wlan0 scan" and it picks up nothing different from what I have stated. My router is a Netgear WNDR3400.

Is my router just incompatible with Linux, or is there some third-party software that may work?

To be honest, companies are just producing anything and everything they can label as "Organic" in order to capitalize on this eco-friendly phase many people seem to be into right now.

I go to the store now and see crap like organic t-shirts and organic cotton. Seriously? I'd rather my shirt be grown with as many pesticides as possible. This makes the price cheaper anyway...

Response to: imperialism Posted August 30th, 2010 in General

I personally think Imperialism is a great thing. It is how great nations flourish, and the whole "Not mixing cultures" thing is juvenile and needs to be done with already.

I mean if the USSA (United Socialist States of America) were to take over Mexico , YET let them keep MEXICAN rulers, no whites, would that be a huge issue?

That's how I think Imperialism should really be. Shit, perfect example would be Alexander the Great. He was all over the Middle East and Egypt and did exactly as I described. Only until his war mongering into India and present-day Afghanistan did things start to turn bad.

Depends, intentional or accidental? I expect the latter.

No, completely intentional. If I see a possum at night, I hit it and then inspect the corpse. Same applies for raccoons and squirrels.

Actually this one time I had hit a coon in this neighborhood with my old Civic. The thing was still flopping around so I reversed and went back over it... STILL alive. I was like Jesus this thing is ridiculous. So after not dying a THIRD time I pulled out my baseball and beat its skull in.

Call that "inhumane" if you want. But if you hit an animal in the street and leave it living and mutilated, then I would consider that more inhumane than anything....

Besides what most of you idiots don't realize is that PETA kills animals all the time. They euthanize thousands of animals every year because of "filled capacity".

How do you think that? North Korea is the most Communist country on this planet. There isn't a single form of production or agriculture that isn't planned and operated by the state. NOTHING.

You can easily infer that about China. Although they call themselves Communist for some reason or another, they clearly aren't. That is easily observed considering the huge amounts of corporations and free-market economy that is beginning to arise.
