Also, slowness could also be coming from the other end rather than just you. For example, the issue Newgrounds had with (Comcast, was it?) slowed down their upload speed to us Verizon customers.

Well first of all, is your Internet slow or is your computer's connection to the Internet slow?

I'm using wireless wifi and get a good connection, as does everything else in my household but my brother's gaming PC, but a wired connection is indubitably much faster.

My WiFi results are below, which is just a mere fraction of the total 75mb/s download and 50mb/s upload distributed onto everything in my household.

A wired connection allows you to get a greater fraction of the total of what you're supposed to get.
