I was skating at Blazers roller rink in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania (I used to live about an hour from there) when a giant Jynx (the Pokemon) appeared. When I approached it, it would pick me up and toss me off the skating floor and I would land face-first near the cinder-block wall. I tried to sneak past it, but it had a second pair of eyes in the back of its head (as depicted in the picture), and it was quick as a whip, so I had no chance. I spent a lot of time trying to dodge the Jynx and the rest is a blur.

Well, BoneIdol, I guess I've hit a brick wall. I already can rip to .mp3 with all but one of the media player programs I have. I initially used CDex because iTunes cut off about four seconds of the last song on each CD, but it doesn't seem to do that anymore, so I'm right back at square one.

And who said Ogg Vorbis was unpopular? I know a guy who uses FLAC, which is even more obscure.

I must admit, I've buckled and followed along with the Free Software Foundation's "Play Ogg" campaign for fear of my own dignity, and I need some help: I can use CDex to rip CD audio to Ogg Vorbis files, but I can't get the files to work in in iTunes properly. I just downloaded a set of codecs to get the files to import and play, but I can't get the files to display in track number order. I think a possible fix to this would be to use iTunes itself to rip the CDs, but it doesn't have an Ogg encoder. Any fixes?
The reason I came here is because I don't know if the fixes I need involve complex scripts or backdoor hacks or anything. Please let me know if I'm in the wrong place.
