A man stepped out onto his porch, watching a naked Korean man golf with Al Gore while dancing on a pogo stick. The man took a progressive leap to the dinner table and broke his enormous pen shaped plastic instrument, and Gore screamed out, "BP's fault." Unaware of the bear eating from the riser-pipe while talking stock prices; Gore then immediately engaged in crying for five years. Once he calmed down, there was a soothing roar from the bear, he roared, "Pineapples suck" to which the Korean committed Hara-kiri but failed, instead wounding Al Gore's young niece. So he pulled an anvil out, strapping it on.

Suddenly Steven Hawking stood up and proclaimed, "This is the end of class. But not for long!" Then he wormhole teleported them to Russel Crowe's liquor cabinet, located near Tom Fulp's summer home where he likes to

-Wake up, dumbass. - Said a blurry figure over my ringing head.

The blurry figure walked out the door, and once my head finally stopped buzzing, I looked where I was at. I was inside some sort of room inside a shop. I knew it was a shop because there was a wooden safe inside. The walls were made out of solid oak, and the roof out of hay. A simple, middle class Bazenthian house. I stood up, and revised my body. Nothing wrong, only a headache. The last time I remembered, I was screaming with pain after a high speed crash against a little shop. Once I was done, a young man, about my age, came in with his head down. He had light brown hair, and a tall figure, almost all of it wrapped around robes. Warlock robes.

- It looks like you're finally awake, dumbass. - He said.
- I really don't appreciate you insulting me. -
- I have every right to; I saved your dumb heroic ass after that beat up that magic thief gave you. -
- I guess I owe you some thanks. But, if I was such a dumbass, why did you sa- I was cut short until he lifted his head.

He had a platinum blonde short hair that shone brightly against a stream of light that fell onto his head, and forest green eyes, filled with unimaginary wisdom. I had only seen that face once before.

- You're that guy I saved in the market. - I said, as his eyes showed shame.
- I-I-I-I didn't need your help! - he reacted - That bastardly magic thief threw my wand away, so I couldn't defend myself at all!

I understood he was the kind of person too prideful to admit need for help, and he had actually saved me from death by setting afire that thief, so I decided to let it pass.

- Sure. By the way, my name's Kite. Kite Beltam. - I said, as I reached out my hand.
- Ulysses Barcoul. - He said, shaking my hand.

That was a fated handshake. I didn't know it then, of course, that with that handshake one of the greatest team was born.

Chapter 1

I walked around town, looking at all the buildings around me. 8 years of not seeing this place made my eyes tear a little. Back then, it used to be a small town with a bit of huts and a small shop for everything. Now, it had virtually become a metropolis. There were amazing temples and markets around every corner; all made out of the finest clay and marble. Dragon fruit, the most delicious treat at that time, was sold in every market, whether it was vegetable or wool what they sold. I went around and saw an armour shop and got myself in. Once inside, my eyes shone so brightly, one might have confused them with a sun. Armour made of the finest Ganther and Mythril were in that shop. After I observed an armour nearby, and decided it fine enough to suit me, I went over to the seller.

"Say, how much is it for that Ganther chain mail over at the corner? - I asked innocently

The seller went over to analyze it, and came back

"350 zaikits" Said the seller, as my jaw dropped

After 1 year of selling my protection services to wealthy families, all I had gathered was 1200 zaikits. I calculated, and if I bought a new chain mail, undershirt, pants, boots, belt, plus have a place to stay and food for at least a month, that would leave me with a mere 90 zaikits. Although that would leave me in a misery, I decided I would be able to survive until the end of the month, giving me enough time to make even more money. I paid the seller the 350 zaikits, and tried on the chain mail. It was light, yet when I tried to impale it with a dagger, it didn't even scratch. I left, and made my way to the tailor. There, I bought undershirt, pants, boots, and a belt, all made of mythril linen. I spent about 600 zaikits only on that, leaving me with a mere 250. Fortunately, it was enough to get food and a nice cottage. I made my way through the crowd of people and got to the food market.
Once there, I started choosing vegetables, fruits, meats...

"SOMEBODY FUCKING HELP ME!!!" - A man yelled from an empty street

I look around, and see a man getting robbed in an alley. Nobody around me does anything. I feel a bit disappointed, but I know what I got to do. I unsheathe my sword and charge towards the robber. I think this is a piece of cake, until the thief turns around, and I see a wand in his hand.
" Validus pulsus" - he chants

"OH SHI-"- I say, as I am thrown about 30 feet away.

I hit my hit myself headfirst into a pottery shop. I can barely twitch my fingers from the pain, but I can sense the thief coming towards me. I can eventually see him, standing by my side. Fear rushes through my veins as I see him pulling out a small knife. He slowly gets toward my neck, and-

" Atrum incendia ! - I hear someone say.

Suddenly, the robber is lit on fire by dark flames. He starts running around helplessly as a horrified crowd watches on. If only I ad the time to get up and thank whoever saved me. But hell, my body aches from every single part, and I'm pretty sure I'm going to pass out. And unfortunately, I'm right.

I too. Posted April 20th, 2010 in Writing

So, I am currently having a school project, which involves poetry (yay!). I had to write a lyric poem involving the fact that my teacher did a poem about everything that was important in school, but she excluded us. Ya know, like Langston Hughes'" I too" response to "I hear America singing" by Walt Whitman. So please, rate it to and give me suggestions.

I. TOO

Why is it that you leave us out?
We're also a part of this school.
I must speak up, I must shout out:
"Leaving us out is not so cool!"

How dare you, treat us like this?
Since we're pretty much your reason to live.
Why is it you're doing this, Miss?
Without us, you would have nothing to give.

I'm sorry, but I demand some respect.
Not only from you, but from the others too,
Those other teachers, who act like a sect,
Because, Miss, I too, am a part of this school.

This is a story I currently have been working on. I may update it bi-weekly or monthly, depending on how interested I am on doing it.
Also, names for places and people are suggested. They have to be somewhat Popular-Medieval (i.e. Ulysses, something like that).

Prologue

I ran. I ran as fast as I could. I had been running over and over through what seemed to be never-ending woods. Moonlight lit my path as I kept running. I looked back and saw the beast chasing me. It was a Minotaur. It had to be at least 12 feet tall, had blood red eyes, and bulging muscles. Its horns almost looked like spears from my sight, and he had a round nose, with a ring going from one nostril to the other. I kept running, and eventually I lost him. I kept going until I saw a river nearby. I walked over to the riverbed, and drank until my heart stopped racing. I looked into the river and saw myself. I had jet black hair that almost reached my eyes, blue eyes the may look very much to a sapphire, and a strong, yet slender build. I was wearing leather shirt and bottoms, with a glistening mythril chain mail over my shirt. I had black wool boots on me, and although they were uncomfortable, they had managed to keep me running until now. Around my waist was a sword. I pulled it out, and analyzed it. It had a normal black hilt, with a ruby embalmed on its centre. It had a massive,3 foot long, ganther blade. Ganther was very hard to find, it was the strongest mineral in the whole Zaikan (name for my world), only found in the deepest ruins and caves. I placed my sword back on its strap and went my way. That was, of course, until I felt about 300 pounds of pure Minotaur head butt me about 8 feet into the distance. I rolled about 3 feet after hitting the ground, and got myself up quick enough to see the Minotaur preparing for yet another attack. But this time I was ready. The Minotaur rushed for me, and as soon as it was in my sight...SLASH! I pulled out my sword, and with the blink of an eye, I chopped of his head off clean. Purple blood flew everywhere, staining all my clothes, but I supposed as soon as I got to town I could go to a well and clean them. I grabbed his lifeless head off the ground, and strapped it with some leather onto my belt. I continued my walk, and I finally saw it. Just as the horizon rose, I saw my hometown, Bazenthia.

My name is Kite Beltam. I am a TRAVELLING KNIGHT.

Response to: Sexy Tears Posted April 7th, 2010 in Writing

Hmm....To start off, I particularly enjoy the love poems, but this one was a bit unemotonal, and repetitive.

You used the word cheeks and tears a lot, try using a thesaurus or changing the verses to adjust them.

I also felt as if you didn't feel it when you wrote it. You just placed words. You gotta feel the pure wish to write for her, or you won't make it.

Also, try to use some sort of pattern, whether it be prose or rhyming I couldn't really know. You, as I said before, just placed words.
