Response to: Looking for Sprite Animators Posted May 21st, 2010 in Animation

Wow! There's nothing more I like as a team-player than a sprite collab with good leadership. This seems really promising and organized for a sprite collab (or whatever you want to call it XD).

And you have some pretty solid requirements as well. But doing a series may be a bit much for me.

okay, thanks for the explanation guys. Sorry, I'm still in the learning curve of Gmod as I'm relatively new to it.

Shadow: You never had a father, Sonic.
Sonic: What? Then how did I become into existence?

Haha! More! More! Make more Mario, Luigi etc.. stuff.

okay then, I will! :)
But as much as I really like Mario, I have a problem with their models. I can't change their fingers, face, or anything like that. But......

Paper Mario for N64

I don't know why, maybe because it was really epic. It took a while to finish and in the process I was having some attachments for some of the partners, especially the earlier ones. Feels as if I have to say good-bye to them after I was completed the game.

Just enjoy the random battle. =P

That's just the way I am sometimes, I can't stand having a fight without a story. But I knew this collab was focusing on doing it for the fun of it, so I wasn't going to start being a pain in the neck. I still liked how turned out anyways.

Response to: .:Sonic Battle Collab:. /Thread 3\ Posted December 30th, 2009 in Game Development

Well, I didn't have a problem with the SMBZ style animation. I just thought the battles made no sense.

Well, that's what happens when I can't put a story in my part. I was afraid something like that would of happened. But, like I said before, what's done is done.

Response to: .:Sonic Battle Collab:. /Thread 3\ Posted December 29th, 2009 in Game Development

Actually, I do have something good to say, your review was the best out of everyone else's reviews I've seen so far. It was almost perfect! :'D

Response to: .:Sonic Battle Collab:. /Thread 3\ Posted December 29th, 2009 in Game Development

The alternative is to not use sprites. Then you're free to use any sound effects you want. You also end up with 40% less haters in the reviews.

I am not giving up on some sprites just because of some series called SMBZ. I have every right to use Mario and Sonic sprites just as much as a pro animator does!

I'm sorry every time I say something to you, Gustavos, it seems like I'm angry. Keep catching me at the wrong time.

Response to: .:Sonic Battle Collab:. /Thread 3\ Posted December 29th, 2009 in Game Development

I don't care what the crap people say! If I were to do a part that was not DBZ related, people would have thought if it as being not as cool. But if I did (which I did) a part that has some DBZ related action, people say it such a ripoff!

Sure, I can understand that. No really, I do. But make up your freak'n minds people! Its obvious that this a case of "Alvin Earthworm only" animations. Everything else they throw out the window!

Obviously until January.
Waiting a whole year for a response is a bit too much, don't you think?

I don't know. At the rate this collab was going it could of been another year before something happened. Lol!

Response to: .:Sonic Battle Collab:. /Thread 3\ Posted December 28th, 2009 in Game Development

I bet we have to wait 'till next year, but that's all.

exactly what do you mean by this? Wait till January or for 12 months kind of thing?

Response to: .:Sonic Battle Collab:. /Thread 3\ Posted December 28th, 2009 in Game Development

But if you say so, I've sent it in both sides now. It won't increases the chances, but at least something.

But thanks for helping us. Without your response, we maybe waited ages for a response. X)

Well I wasn't about to wait for ages.

Response to: .:Sonic Battle Collab:. /Thread 3\ Posted December 27th, 2009 in Game Development

But don't worry, my message will be much nicer than the post I just previously blotted out!

Response to: .:Sonic Battle Collab:. /Thread 3\ Posted December 27th, 2009 in Game Development

Well this is getting kind of ridiculous. I'm not going to sit around for another month just so we can find out what Tom's response is. We don't even know if he'll say yes!

I don't care if I'm not in position to do this, if we don't get any response soon I'll send a PM to Tom asking about our upload limit personally! Even if he says "no" I don't care either....at least we're getting somewhere! Sheesh!

Response to: .:Sonic Battle Collab:. /Thread 3\ Posted December 25th, 2009 in Game Development

Man this really sucks. Has Tom replied yet?

Response to: The Smash Brawl Collab Posted December 20th, 2009 in Game Development

oh wait! Am I the only stink'n 19 yr that's interested in the collab?
With that kind of spelling? No way you're an adult with an education.

I suck at English, okay?! You think I would go lying to everyone about my age? I dare you to come say that to me again in person!

Response to: .:Sonic Battle Collab:. /Thread 3\ Posted December 17th, 2009 in Game Development

hmmm... I would like to do a squeal too.....but I don't have as much free time as I used to and I've already committed myself to a couple projects. But.....we'll see. ^^

Response to: .:Sonic Battle Collab:. /Thread 3\ Posted December 17th, 2009 in Game Development

These are the stats:

Music:
MP3, obviously
Mono
20 kbps
Quality: Best (I've checked several qualities, there are no effects to the filesize)

um, switch Mono to stereo? Not sure if how that effects the file size but it I don't get static sounds with stereo. In Flash 8, you go sound settings in publish settings and uncheck the box that says "convert stereo to mono"

Also, try with "Override Sound Settings" button checked.

Anyway, I managed to finish it and haven't seen any flaws yet, but...

Any idea if Mr. Fulp accept 18MB+ .swf files? =P
I tried my best to compress things, but I'm nearly reaching my limit. A bit more compressing and the sound would be static. XD

0_0 What the BOOM?! Wow! a whole lot of recent post has been put on this forum since I last checked! Now this is more my kind of Sonic Battle Collab! XD

And yah, I'm glad you finally decided to stop hiding Mikey......er Lukey. Lol! I really missed you being on the forum.

And also, what are the sounds set to? Mono or Stereo? I find them to be less static when set to Stereo.
