i saw that on the news and it said your wrong

If you sit it on your knees instead of your lap, you have nothing to worry about. But if you sit it on your lap, then because of your balls close proximity to the bluetooth and wifi cards, and the fact the the laptop will essentially drain it's heat into your balls, then that's where it turns from myth to reality.

Sit your laptop on your knees, using your wrists sitting on palm-rest to keep it stable.

What do you mean by sounds? Do you mean the instruments that came with garageband or the loops that came with garageband?

There's nothing wrong with using just the instruments that came pre-installed on garageband - that's pretty much what they're there for - although I'd suggest tweaking them to create your own sound.

If you mean loops, then there's it's ok to use the occasional loops - but if the song it's self is almost purely pre-made loops, then you shouldn't upload it since you've only put it together, not made the music yourself; that would be like uploading something from the Punk-O-Matic. Although if you've edited the loops so that they don't sound like what they came as, then that should be ok.

How about a colour-code, icon, extra column, or something extra to indicate what genre each piece of music is in lists that contain multiple genres of music? When I look at the list of music and pick something, I tend to think to myself "please don't be techno please don't be techno please don't be ... bugger"

And possibly an individual front-page for each genre? IE selecting "Punk" in the browse genres menu would make the new-submissions list show the 30 newest punk submissions, the best-tracks ever list only show punk songs, the Best of the week showing only the best punk songs of the week, etc., with a separate button to view the list of songs like normal.

... and maybe a folk/folk-rock genre? <.<

Used to use garageband, then my parents bought me Logic Studio as a birthday gift so I'm re-vamping my garageband stuff.

If you listen to the Logic Stuff (which hasn't been uploaded yet) and then the garageband stuff (some of which hasn't been uploaded), the garageband stuff sounds like complete crap.
Probably sounds like crap without listening to the Logic stuff first :P
but that's beside the point :P

It's not tedious, so much as annoying enough to keep people from just making screenshots on the fly since you have to open up a second application and follow steps to do it.

I have my mbp set to take a screenshot when I press f11, or a cropped screenshot when I press cmd+f11 :P

Famously, all london horse-drawn taxis are legally required to carry a bale of hay to feed to the horse.

I don't get why that's a stupid law though ... actually seems quite sensible, despite there being something like only 5 horse-drawn taxis in all of london.

If you really want to become a legalised murderer, fighting in the blazing heat or the frigid cold, and aimlessly following the commands of higher-ups who wouldn't spend a penny to save you for reasons other than to continue serving them aimlessly like zombies hungry for human flesh, go ahead ^_^

Its more about black supremacy.
Don't you think we deserve it after the hard labors, brutal whippings, and murders you gave us?

The white people of america (disregarding the racist arseholes) had nothing to do with slavery ... except the ones who happen to be two-centuries old or older. You can't control who you're born as or where you're born; blaming white people for the crimes of their ancestors makes you just as bad as the racists.

Black americans come from Africa, what would you do if the Jews started demanding the right to be racist to you and demanding money from you because their ancestors were slaves to your African ancestors millennia ago?

Thats not the point. I for one believe in equal punishment. Basically, You stab my back, I stab yours. You stabbed my back, don't I deserve a swing at your back?

except he never stabbed his back, his ancestors stabbed your ancestor's backs, which is something that he cannot change, nor is responsible for.
