Probably the biggest thing I don't like about SOAD is the fact that they went on tour with The Mars Volta (which I totally love) and the fans were there for SOAD and didn't embrace what TMV had to offer. If the fans of SOAD love their "progressive" edge so much, than why aren't they willing to accept a band that leads the way for modern prog?

No, been exposed. My friends constantly have me listening to the stuff. I can't give names because I forget them, but trust me, I've liked none of it. I like SOAD because it's the least metal.

Oh, just asking, but what is Mudvayne? I don't listen to it, but I'm curious what genre it is.

Nu-metal isn't metal.

There are so many different types of metal that calling it all horrible is nothing but ignorant.

Why would they call it Nu-METAL if it wasn't metal? Anywho, no, I've heard plenty of metal. Death, Black, Nu, Metalcore, Metal.... I really don't like any of it. Unless it's mixed really well with like, tech-grind, hardcore, screamo, ambient, or something else, I almost garuntee I won't like it.

The other one is a sideproject. The band is called "crisis in underground". Direction there is screamo/hardcore.

Stangely enough, I don't like metal but like screamo and hardcore. Where can I find some of your stuff.

My band's called Esophoria. We're uh...not metal. I hate to suggest you go to our MySpace, but I do anyways. Our songs are poorly recorded...which is sad...but someday soon we'll have newer stuff. Please DON"T HATE US just for the poor recordings. Also, we're not as wimpy as we seem to make ourselves out to be. Once again, it's all the recording situation. Nothing too hard recorded yet. If you're in a band, you probably know how much easier it is to make a soft recording than a hard one.

Well, there you're more likely to get a more credible sort of crew. The concentration of crap there isn't half as big as here probably. But you should ask there. That place is designed for people looking to work with others, so it makes perfect sense. Here, people are more into talking about how much other people suck, haha

All metal is pretty much horrible. Nu Metal..eh...the only thing I can take from that is SOAD (but I agree that they are overrated)

This is really rough...I have to think of a song I could never get tired of...

But I don't think I could ever have one of those...

So I'm just gonna say my favorite now.
