Ive been listening to your VG music for some years now, you guys are great. But uh regretfully, i gotta fill you in on the rules here because youre breaking them by

1) not starting the thread with a piece of your own original art

2) requesting art without giving your own example (can you draw?)

If you want to request something, please go to this thread (set up by BlackmarketKraig). You also need to make a news post about your request on your user page and link to it there instead of directly posting the whole thing in the thread. That way its easier for people to read through requests that are relevant to them, in form of links (without facing huge walls of text). Just keep your description short and provide a link to your request!

Because i realized shortly after doing this that i could do better. And i dont like the hatching in this either. I wanna do better than this, i just gotta give myself some more time (and try not to waste time at the same time). Im also doing some heavy studies in some areas in art. I need to get the most out of my sketchbook too in order to improve.

I agree with Scorpian, it looks pretty good for 20 minutes. And yeah, pencil is a lovely and satisfying medium because you dont need a bunch of software to adjust all the time and its more accurate. Good to get it out on paper sometimes.

Hes originally from season 1. Although he appears sometimes in other seasons as well, only for brief moments. And yeah i dont even tune in to Jetix anymore when it comes to Digimon. Them bastards here in Norway havent even bothered airing Tamers, in fact THEY NEVER HAVE ASDFGHJK. Only the same 2 seasons over and over and over again, in all eternity.

All i know is that zbrush is a digital paint brush program used for 3D works, and that makes me curious. Make more and post them, its lookin promising. :D

I guess it was a good practice. And thats a very good copy, considering that you didnt trace it. It means that you got good observation skills. And even though i dont think ive seen this cover before, those are lovely colors. Splendid. Great tones. Just, downright awesome. Even though you copied it, great kudos on the way you imitated the game cover concept. Maybe you should use more references of photos, game characters etc. That way you can give boost to your original work based on your practices. Seeing that theyre coming along very good atm. Dont stop.

In the meantime, I need to start posting more original artwork, that's a lot of fan art for the past few days...

I think i can see that too, but its very minor. Not really that distracting imo. But hey, you were 13-14 at that time. You know where it leaks now. You wouldve probably tightened that up now, but you got new stuffs coming up so its all good. You know where to nail it now :)

And once again your colors are firm and processed very well as usual, even though its not really that uhh... captivating in this one except for the shines on his armor and that bolt ball (i tend to like vulgar colors a lot mpffff). This is something I did over two years ago, it's a bit shit, but it seems to be the latest hand piece I had scanned on my PC. It was my version of Cloud, there's loads of problems with it which I had spotted, so I know of all the bad anatomy bits etc. So no need to point em out. It is pretty old.

Well i can see what you mean about the anatomy bits and the proportions. But i still think its pretty impressive. Thats actually one of many types of style that i admire. Such clean lines and nice texture too. You must be da bomb now 2 years ever since you made this. I can see why you arent interested in having an art thread here since you dont need anyones approval here. Well still i think you should put some of your samples in your sig in form of links, in case anyone is in doubt.

Work wise I teach 2d and 3d animation in a University. So I work alot with concepts and art and teach how to make it usable for animation.

Wow. Awesome. Must be pretty tough there. A friend of mine who happens to be extremely talented and experienced goes through 2D and 3D classes too, where he have to use 3D software like Maya. Dunno if youve heard of him, but his name is Rtil/Ryan Miller. A popular NG artist. He got class A 2D work.
