Response to: The Lazer Collab Recharged Posted January 31st, 2009 in Game Development

Hey guys, I was reading around to find a collab to join last night, and I picked this one. :D

I got a awesome idea, so I'll be working on it for a while and it'll be ready before the 15th.

I'll post an update when I got it mostly finished.

See you then! :D

Here is what I have so far. No one responded to my questions or anything last time I posted and asked. THe run down of my peice will be this, that scene will switch to a defeated torjan style army, one last soldier will rise up, run to the gates of the fortress they attacked, and be mowed down by arrows.

I am a first time animator for a project, so any constructive comments would be appreaciated. Thanks guys, what do you think of it so far?

Response to: D is for death [Collab] Posted February 19th, 2007 in Game Development

Oh and btw, this is my first serious flash, so any suggestions will be awesome for me, thanks guys.

Battle.php

THe main jist of my piece will be the following. The grounds below the great walls of Troy, army has just bee crushed. That first panel you just looked at will start it off and streak to a view of the defeated army, one last soldier will rise up, sprint to the gates and be mowed down by arrow. Oh yeah, and there will be lots more blood, one of th last things i will probably add to each part.

Wewt.

Suggestions appreciated muchly. =D

Response to: D is for death [Collab] Posted February 14th, 2007 in Game Development

B is for Battle

I'd like to take B please.

I already have an idea, and im already thinking of my scene. The sooner we can decide on music, the better, cause I'd like to time it ot music to make it more dramatic.

Anyways, off to work I go.

Response to: The Disney Collab Posted February 14th, 2007 in Game Development

Good luck in the Navy! Hope we see you soon agian. <3

I watched Fantasia 2000 last night, no luck in any songs though, they are all so long!

Good news though, I got some Treasure Planet tracks from my friend, they are all REALLY high energy, and if nothing else, they would make excellent music for our menu page. =D

Here is an updated list on who has what. I’m not 100% sure its accurate, and whichever ones where being fought over I left out till you all decide amongst yourselves. Some of the people who signed up did so last year, so they may have forgotten or fallen out since spiffy hasn't been here. I swept the thread and included any authors email next to their name if they had given it. Sorry if there are any mistakes in the list, I’ll correct them later if you point them out to me.

As for music, I’m going to look at some of the Fantasia music, since that could also easily tie all these together. Only problem I see with that is I remember them being pretty long songs. I’ll be looking for other possible music too. Post any ideas you may have.

We still need members for this and ideas too. I’d like to help in any way for organizing this.

I just listened to both "Sanctuary" and "Simple and Clean", in Japanese and English versions, they are painfully slow...anyone else feeling the same? I'm thinking I'm going to agree with alot of the people who are wanting to change the song. Kingdom Hearts is unifying, but the songs arn't apealing, to me at least.

I think we need a Disney song thats more upbeat and faster so we can have a more interested viewer. Ideas?

Oh and btw, I agree on fenix taking over if Spiffy-23 doesnt come back.

Response to: The Disney Collab Posted January 23rd, 2007 in Game Development

I'd like to join and take The Emperors New Grove

Any word as to where the leader of this is?

email: halomstchief@yahoo.com

Are we changing the song?

Response to: Anime art thread Posted October 1st, 2006 in Art

Here is some of my better work, I usualy dont like my drawings, but this one turned out great I think, so I consider it some of my best work so far. Started with an emphasis on clothing detail, cause thats one of my weak points, I just dont do it enough.

Anime art thread

Response to: ++Anime Collab++ Posted May 31st, 2006 in Game Development

My process:
For that particular drawing, I sketched it out using pencil and paper in my sketchbook first. Since I had decided that I would focus on the hair movement and keep the rest of the bosy a still image, I thought it would be best to get the body all right before I redered it in flash. It took about 2 sketches to get what I wanted, then I rendered it in flash, importing my inked drawing and traced the outlines. Since it was uncolored I colored everything first and set that as my finished object. Then insterted a key frame, and edited the hair individually in each frame. The whole tihng took about 6-7 hours total work. Thats the most advanced animation I've done with flash so far. I am still practicing, but like I said I am still a beginnner in flash.

Response to: ++Anime Collab++ Posted May 30th, 2006 in Game Development

If you guys are accepting alternate applications, I would be interested in joining in on this incase one of your artists is not able to participate in this. Though I have not ever submited to newgrounds or participated in a major flash project, I do have an example I can show as a basis of being accepted into the collab. I would really enjoy being apart of this. Please however don't mistake me for an expert flash artist, I am still very much a beginner.

example work:
http://i2.photobucke..lchemist07/dizzy.swf

Please let me know about this. If you are only accepting alternates applications at the moment, I would like to have mine put in queue in a sense, so if someone has to drop I may take their place. If you are accepting regular applications to add to your collab, I would also be interested in joining you. Thank you for taking the time to consider me.

Lol! I <3 you Tarah

Now on to the rant!!

You know what I absolutely LOVE out of all things? Idiots who use the "Hentai is for loserz who can't get any" stereotype! HOW ORGINAL!! Wow! You get a cookie!

Yes, it is not "real" porn as you put it. Its drawn, big fucking deal. It takes more skill to put together a piece of art than to get on camera and fuck a stranger like there's no tomorrow.

Yes, that’s right, you are an ignorant bastard who picks on people on the INTERNET. Comon man, you can state your opinion, but you've just been flaming in here. Simply saying, "I don't like hentai cause its drawn and doesn't appeal to me," would have been much more intelligent than what you've done.

Oh, and I love how you correct others grammar to make yourself look smarter. But hey, guess what? You're still an IDIOT to me.

Good DAY Sir!

Response to: MP3 Editing Help Posted August 24th, 2005 in Audio

Sorry, i figured it out mself, i wanted to Edit the MP3 and keep it MP3 format, so i had to use a different program that wouldn't change the MP3 to wav when i was done with it. Thanks anyways though. I figured it out on my own :)

MP3 Editing Help Posted August 24th, 2005 in Audio

ok, so i need to edit a MP3 for a flash, i have WavePad, and i cut out what i wanted. Problem is, the cut section in now bigger in size (like, 32 MB) then the original 8 minute song! (which was like, 7 MB). And there are crackly sounds throught the audio, why is this? Why is it that the cut portion is much bigger, and of less quality then the orginal song? Is there a way to fix this? How did the original author get the size so small, with great quality? Im pretty confused here, help please.
