You would have earned that whistle quicker if you went here
Blargh, last time I tried to recreate the abusive reviews topic in a blog post, the mods told me anyone who tried to recreate that topic in whatever form would get shot. Unfair >=(
What mods?
IIRC, review and BBS mods talked about it and decided it would make things easier if the original abusive review thread was locked, and not recreated on NG in the form of news posts etc., because it just caused too much non-abusive stuff to get flagged and ultimately increased work for the review mods.
I think Wade interjected that if it's on news posts, users can do pretty much what they want... but if you're trying to help out review mods it's probably not the best way to go about it. But then I'm guessing it's more for helping people upgrade their whistle level than helping mods clean the site.
Not to get into a debate about a frankly tired issue or anything, just explaining the situation as I remember it.
Alright, then. Thanks for clearing all that up, NEVR! Since I'm not helping the mods do their job by giving them abusive reviews, but instead helping users get a better whistle, then it's ok. Thanks again!

Well it was Malachy who started to PM me, asking me to delete the blogpost. Not that I care much anymore.
Um, well. Since Malachy has punished me enough I don't think he'll ever send me a PM asking me to delete it.
