Maybe you have very limited ram, if you've been downloading or saving tons of new files, that could be why you're having a problem. I suggest getting rid of any files on your computer you don't need, have you downloaded or installed any games that you no longer play?

The fact that you need to read subtitles to understand them, it's much easier to use English voices, anyone who insists on japanese voice acting has had their minds warped by anime.

Although you made this in flash, it isn't really about flash.

Yeah it's not really flash related, i personally don't think good drawing is a nessecity for a good flash.
I'm not saying it's a bad drawing though, just needs different shades of colour.

All that went completely over my head lol.
I've still got a feeling you may think i'm talking about the development stage of the preloader. I should have worded it better really.

I'm actually trying to to it at the start of my flash now, i've copied the frame with my preloader on and pasted it into my flash, it's now in frame 1, but i've already got stuff in frame 1, which needs to be moved to frame 2. I just want to know how to move all the frame 1 stuff from every layer into frame 2, i've tried copy and pasting the keyframes but whenever i got to delete the frame one keyframe the frame two one takes its place.

I can't seem to get flash to allow me to have a blank frame 1 on my layers.

I basically want to get my preloader into the first frame but there is already stuff in the first frames, how do i move everything in frame one into frame 2 without effecting my work?

Ok i've pretty much finished my flash and i want to add a preloader, i've edited one of the existing ones and i'm pleased with it, but how do i place it at the start of my flash? The instructions say to put it in the first frame but there is already stuff in my first frame and when i try and move it along the keyframes still remain in the first frame.

I doubt it...

Arcade games just arn't as popular as normal ones. Plus all the 12 year old kids will see this game is 2Dish and vomit.

I bought the game and i'm loving it though :D, all the customizability really makes this game worth playing.

Wait so when you paste a sprite sheet, its already deformed and such?
Could you show me a screenshot ?

Indeed, but i've been messing around with it abit and it seems to have gotten better, not perfect but better.

I'm wondering where i can get character sounds, i'm looking for Sonic the hedgehog characters. Someone sent me a PM with a link to a really good site before, but it seems to have deleted itself from my inbox, i didn't know it'd do this so i didn't bother bookmarking it.

Topic: Sprites Looking Detail Help!

Posted: 05/23/08 07:10 PM

Forum: Flash

I don't know what i've done but it's really harming the quality of my flashes.

Any new sprites that i import from sprite sheets seem to have real bad quality, if you zoom in enough instead of the pixels being in block like form, they are merged together into strange shapes.

It's really making my flashes look bad, and i can't carry on working on them until i sort this out!

I need help, please!
