Aperture has a massive science facility bigger than the human imagination can fully perceive.

And Cave Johnson bought black mesa anyways.

I liked the gameplay in Black Mesa more

Aperture just seems like a giant cartoon factory that shat on the seriousness of the HL universe.

Where did you get Cave bought Black Mesa. It was owned by Wallace Breen.

I liked the quest mode in Armageddon.

Good theory, and in Generation III, there's Mt. Pyre, there was also a place for resting / dead Pokemon in Gen IV but I can't recall the name of it. Gen V lacks a place of death. Gen VI has Route 10 where Pokemon were strapped to the giant stone pillars as sacrifices for something.

ive never played the pokemon games, what gen is gen vi?

Not for video games. :P

in terms of vidyeah games, wal-mart only has a limited selection of the more popular titles, and they're usually very expensive.

gamestop, retro video game stores ,amazon, etc. are all better for vidyeah games.

I hate ham, every ham meat I've eaten is usually hard (not crunchy) and bland, and the lean meat version of it that goes on sandwiches is really bland to me.

Pork rinds aren't awful, the ones with hot sauce are an amazing snack.

I think pork tenderloin smoked is the best though.

I agree with that statement. Which is what troubles me. I do like people. I want to have a place in society, and have a meaningful existence.

The problem is the lack a genuine people in my life. The society that doesn't care about me, even though I wish everyone luck, and no harm.

Where do you live OP? your solution might be moving to a place more community based such a suburb, some southern areas of the U.S., or even a country like Norway or general northern Europe. (except for the NL, based on what I've seen on the internet, people in the NL act like people in the U.S. ; no offense.)

If he's really a mod and is mad over something that happened years ago, then I odn't understand why he's a mod either. Getting mad over something from years past is typically something only children do.

Gender roles should have been opposite, women live longer than men, can endure the pain of childbirth, and can be stronger then men if they try. (I've seen videos on tv where this woman who was like 60-70 kicked a robber's ass with her known martial arts.)

In other species of animals, typically females are dominant.

Response to: When you see a homeless guy... Posted June 8th, 2014 in General

if you want to help the homeless, donate to one of the organizations that provides them with food or shelter or mental health care. If you are just giving money to people on the street, chances are you're just funding a substance abuse.

How can you be sure those organisations are actually giving to the homeless instead of just hoarding the money themselves?

So parasitism is progress? Heh.

What do you mean?

How I see human society progress Posted June 7th, 2014 in General

This is just me in general thinking outloud.

Decentralization >Merchantalism>Capitalism>Corporatism>Socialism>Communism

Decentralization - This is a system early humans have used without intervention of government or society

Merchantalism - Once an early society has formed and settled down, people will begin to sell goods that they have earned or made for other goods or currency which they can trade for even more goods.

Capitalism - An evolved form of Merchantalism, this economic system is set up so people earn how much based on how they work.

Corporatism - Capitalism itself naturally promotes the ambition out of people, some people will naturally take this too far., and these elites can pretty much make it to where nobody else can get ahead.

Socialism - After Corporatism has been in effect for a period of time, people will either violently change their government, or peacefully protest it in order for it to become Socalism, which as its roots is Capitalism but with government intervention. Over time, the government will respond to people's needs through various tax-paid programs.

Communism - Once a socialist government with several social programs has been in place for a certain amount of time, new generations of people will be born and be raised to believe that distribution of wealth and these social care programs are the best way to go about things. It gets to the point where if these people didn't have a government they could possibly function by itself for a while. Unlike a country in Africa, which would simply completely collapse if it didn't have any form of government. If the socialist government has been in place for thousands of years. People may evolve to function like a superorganism.

Thoughts?

For example drink driving was once considered acceptable but is now seen as socially unacceptable whereas homosexuality has gone the other way. Until 1980 homosexuality was considered a psychological disorder by the World Health Organization (WHO) but today is considered acceptable."

I could go on on why homosexuality is not bad at all, and drunk driving can lead to things like dramatically increased chance of manslaughter and completely destroying your car.

I don't really see the problem with your statement about social norms.
