I know, the truth is, the project wasn't really in development for 12 something years. It was picked up and dropped by several companies. 3drealms started it and went bankrupt, then another company picked it up and suffered the same fate, and gearbox picked up the title in 2008/2009, and people were expecting something more revolutionary than DN3D, of course it wouldn't because you can't really get more revolutionary. because every game idea has been done.
