Honestly, I don't get why people say this. In terms of the rest of the universe, we are, but 95% or more of everything probably is. With the way we have been progressing as a collective species with abilities such advanced communication (the internet) or the ability to split an atom, I'd say we are decently significant in terms of this region of space 500-1000 light years from us.

and to give you an idea on how insignificant thing would be, the galactic empire from Star Wars with all of it's strength would still be vastly insignificant compared to the rest of this universe alone, since they only occupied one galaxy.

I've never had and may not ever have anything above a $1000/mo. paycheck, but I know I'm better off than a lot of families and everyday I'm grateful for this

being grateful is a bad ideology imo, it just makes you more vulnerable to the big wigs who will exploit you even more, but even when they cut your paycheck down to 800 or 700 dollars a month, you'll still be grateful, and the cycle will keep going on.

I think the factor you have to consider is it worth to drop going through possibly not even 1 year of hell just to have temporary comfort and go through 40 years of worse hell (trying to find a job and either landing in minimum wage or hard manual labor (possibly skilled))

Maybe with the fact they may change the texture to not be 8-bit wanna be garbage it will get some form of a colored lighting system and stuff to explore underground instead of a yearly update focusing on reskinned food items, superficial biomes, and integrated mods.

Normally I wouldn't care or I would think this was bad when an asset becomes owned by Microsoft, but come on, this is something that Notch originally made. Mojang seemed to be turning the tables for the game for a while, but I think their interest in the game has died down.

you have alaska, which is culturally regarded as a really quiet and pretty peaceful place which is iornic considering it's pretty republican-oriented culture (iirc)

then you have northern canada, which is generally the same as alaska

then you have iceland which is a pretty great if not really that popular country.

and then you have scandanvia, which is generally regarded by most people to be the best area to live on Earth right now.

Why is Northern Earth so great compared to other countries, especially countries close to the equator?

For some reason when I think about this I always come to this thought where I think reality even though as big and mysterious as is it is feels really limited

The whole universe feels like a giant simulator, it feels like everything is limited, but why? why is this universe created? how did it create itself and why not something else or nothing existing at all, how do we all have consiousnesses and are generally aware of all these things that go on around us?

I think reality itself is limited and that reality may as well be a simulation of some sort, it feels too machine-like to actually be real. What do you think?

When I say reduced human rights I mean it half-and half, in terms of things like basic human rights provided by the bill of rights like freedom of speech or the right to a fair trial, those would apply, by that phrase I meant recognized more of being owned more to the dom, and a result the dom has more freedom to do what he/she pleases with the sub so long as isn't severe main/killing, if the sub feels damaged emotionally, physically, or mentally, the sub can get out of the legal agreement any time just as easily as he/she got into the legal agreement.

Why are there no good modern WWII shooters? I want to play a WWII online game but there are none available, World at War is dead, Day of Defeat is outdated and Battlefield 1942's Gamespy servers were shut down.
