Anyway, I was diagnosed with Asperger's when I was 13, but I also have major depression and schizophrenia (all three diagnoses have been corroborated by many different psychologists and psychiatrists), which seem to have more damaging effects on my mental state. I had a fucked up childhood, not only because of my mental disorders, but also because I was frequently beat up as a kid as well. I still haven't recovered...probably never will either. Sadly, I don't have any relatives who have an autistic spectrum disorder, yet for some reason I was cursed with one. I have a 3-year-old cousin who may be autistic, but he hasn't been professionally tested yet to my knowledge. I know for sure that he experiencing a speech delay, considering that his vocabulary is only limited to a few words (far fewer than would be expected for other people his age) and can't speak in full sentences.

My room isn't very elaborately decorated. I have two autographed Emperor posters (one's mine, the other belongs to my brother), a world map, an NYC subway map from February 2005, and an old map of the solar system made long ago when Pluto was still a planet.

The waterfalls have been around for over a month. I've seen them from both Queens and Manhattan, and if I remember correctly, they're supposed to stay on display until October. There's nothing dazzling about them and I never felt they were necessary here. Since the waterfalls are already detrimentally affecting trees, hopefully they get pulled sooner.

Just do it if you want to, since you'll save a lot of money.

I live in NY and took the test 2 years ago.

There are 20 questions on the written test, and you need to get at least 14 right in order to pass (I got 20/20--it's not hard but they may sometimes ask you some trick questions). If you want to study, the DMV's website is all you really need, and of course the driver's manual if you have it.

And as other people in this thread already mentioned, bring your birth certificate with you.

I only buy CDs if they're dirt cheap, and that's rare. The last time I went CD purchasing was a month ago at a used book sale. I somehow and unexpectedly stumbled upon The Sin War by Dies Irae (which I recommend) and bought it for just a dollar.
