Why should we sing Christmas songs if we don’t want to? I was sent to the Principals office every time I didn’t want to sing some Christmas song. How is that fair? I know that isn’t the only case. If someone doesn’t care for the beliefs of others and politely announces that they do not want to participate, then it is only fair that we can go quietly and do something else, correct? I didn’t go to school to celebrate a religion, which I found to be flawed, hypocritical, and immoral. I went to learn about Math and History; fields of study based on fact, not the writings of some monk who proclaimed that Jesus was, in fact, our Lord and savior.
But what do I know? Those are my feelings on the subject of religion, which I’m not here to talk about. I’m talking about how the right is saying that assigning this Judge will save Christmas and that the liberals, apparently, destroying the holiday.

In the case of the US, you can't let anything slide, given the current State of the Union. We're constantly losing rights and freedoms (our President admitted to wiretapping people, come on!). Every other religion is oppressed in our nation, but the only one that bitches about it is the one that has free-reign over things. Christmas being a national holiday? We get time off for that? And then the Moral Majority turns around and says that Jews in Hollywood are shoving Gay culture down our throats (no pun intended) and they feel suffocated? I just want everyone to be free to express him or herself, but in many states and school systems, it isn't just expression or displaying a religion, but rather forced assimilation.

It's the season when Americans celebrate our traditions of faith ... and once again religious freedom is under assault.
Why? Because liberal groups like People for the American Way and the ACLU have opposed public Christmas and Chanukah displays and even fought to keep Christmas carols out of school.
Some courts and judges have supported this radical agenda, but not Judge Sam Alito, President Bush's nominee to the U.S. Supreme Court. Throughout his career, Judge Alito has consistently upheld the Constitution's protection of free religious expression.
Now, these liberal groups are attacking Judge Alito because he won't support their agenda. Judge Alito believes judges should faithfully interpret the law, not advance political agendas. That's why the liberals are desperately trying to stop Judge Alito's confirmation to the Supreme Court, and it's exactly why we need him there.
Call your Senators today and let them know these groups don't speak for you. Ask them to support Judge Alito as our next Supreme Court Justice, because freedom of religious expression is everyone's right ... and not just during this special season, but all year long.
So basically, if you help get him his seat, we will save Christmas. Because we don't have enough religious influence in public schools as it is.

I don't really care what religious path one follows, but I'm a firm believer in separation of church and state. Now, how can you say that the majority of the U.S. is being oppressed by removing Christmas Carols from schools? I was personally offended by the Jesus songs in my public school, and I was Christian at the time.
But no, we should ignore who this judge really is and make sure he's on the Supreme Court so he can save us from the sinners in this illustrious nation of ours. God Bless America for putting up with these non-believers.

However, their lyrics are thought out and meaningful, so they couldn’t possibly be anything like the blind emotions of punk rock.
If you compared it to one of today’s “punk” bands (e.g. Anti-Flag), you’d be closer to making any point at all.
