Europeans don't want to move here because their own countries are great and of high quality. So we get tons of immigrants from countries that suck.

China and Korea suck? Well China has some sucky political factors, and the air quality there is bad, but Shanghai is a really cool place to live and the economy is booming there and the education system there is great. South Korea is a great country as well. There are many Korean immigrants in certain parts of the US.

But as far Mexicans, I'd agree Mexico is a sucky country but I like some aspects of the Mexican culture. The country, however, is very impoverished.

I have to agree that Europe is better to be honest, but its not like the USA is bad.

I'll agree it's like that in a lot of places. When many Europeans do come to move to America, if any, it's usually in urban areas, like NYC or LA and work in the movie/entertainment industry and enjoy a somewhat luxurious life, and only the rich Europeans do these kind of things. I don't think the average European person has much interest in living in American suburbia or countryside.

Why Don't Europeans Immigrate Posted May 16th, 2012 in General

According to this, most of the immigrants to the US are from Mexico, China, the Philippines, and then many others from India, Vietnam, Cuba, El Salvador, Dominican Republic, Canada, and South Korea. Not one country on the Top 10 list of sources of immigration to the U.S. is a European country, despite the fact that the majority of the U.S. being people of European descent (white people). It is very very seldom I ever meet a person born in Europe who now resides in America. There are plenty of European tourists in major cities in the US, but very few actually move here. My mom is an immigrant, and she is not European, and it just makes me think... do the Europeans come here and not want to actually live here? Do Europeans just strictly like visiting here?

So I'm just wondering... why don't the Europeans move to the America very much anymore? Many British people move to Australia and New Zealand though..

Being An Old Asian Man Sucks Posted May 14th, 2012 in General

Think of it this way. I went to the donut store today and the woman there is usually nice. They're a Cambodian family, and just like a large percentage of US donut stores, it's owned by Cambodians. However these are Cambodians are not of Khmer descent and I think they are of Chinese descent, like Pol Pot. The woman there is usually trying to make an effort to look happy, but the guy, who I'm guessing is the husband of the woman, always looks miserable and that he never wants to actually be there. He looks like he wants to kill himself, and it made me realize... being an old Asian man in the United States actually really sucks.

Imagine it. You're an old Asian man living in suburban America and you barely know English. Your package doesn't even work and you can't make love to the woman you love like you did in the past. You're working at a donut store and making a "meh" amount of money, even if you own the store. You're probably living in a low-income neighborhood, or in a middle-class surrounded by a low-income crappy area at best. That life must SUCK.

Enjoy being a young Asian (or not) person in the US...

North Carolina Is A Shithole Posted May 14th, 2012 in General

North Carolina is definitely a scenic state with many nice state parks and beaches. It is also a home to great universities such as Duke University and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and there is a growing high tech sector in the Raleigh area. It has a diverse population as well.

However, North Carolina is a shithole. Why? They are 61% against the gay marriage ballot, as of last week, and banned same sex marriage in the whole state of North Carolina. It proves that people in North Carolina are very close minded, ignorant, and stupid. Therefore, North Carolina is a smelly, ugly, crappy, un-American DUMP! Or at least, the people there are.

DON'T EAT THE APPLE IT'S ROTTEN.

Least American Part Of The Us Posted May 13th, 2012 in General

What's a part of the US (a region, state, or city) do you think that if you're in it just makes you feel like you're not in the United States and the people are for the most part non-American or anti-American, or at least don't conform to typical U.S. culture. I know you'd say Hawaii, and that's an obvious one, but I would have to say it would be Washington state. Washington is a great state and I'm happy to say Seattle is a part of this country, but it feels like it's Canadian there sometimes lol, and I mean that in a good way. It's still very American, but people there tend to be less religious than other parts of the US, and Christianity is a staple of American culture. It's also very liberal and the weather and scenery there makes it feel very exotic to the rest of the country.

Shooting In La Over City Rivalry Posted May 13th, 2012 in General

My friend said that his second cousin who was visiting Los Angeles last Friday witnessed a man getting shot in the crotch for saying "the Bay is gay" referring to the SF Bay Area. I can't believe somebody would call the San Francisco Bay Area, one of the coolest places in the US, gay. But anyways, the shooter, who is believed to be from the Bay Area and is a transient in the LA area, committed the shooting near a housing project in North LA, near Van Nuys, if you're familiar with the Los Angeles area. I think the shooter might be a man from San Francisco or Oakland, but he may have recently moved to Vallejo. They have not found him but he's identified as a 6-foot-tall slender black male who was wearing a black T-shirt and khakis, and wears round shaped eyeglasses, and in his 30s. Also, an Oakland A's hat. It's really fucked up he would just have to shoot a man over the other guy saying the Bay. I love the Bay Area too to some extent, but you don't need to shoot somebody if they don't like where you're from.

Apparently the victim is a-okay but he's traumatized by this whole beef.

Response to: Asian Americans and Christianity Posted May 12th, 2012 in General

Also don't forget people like Jeremy Lin. A proud American of Chinese descent, raised in the Bay Area, and attended Harvard. He's a VERY proud Christian and always prays before playing a game. He makes not only Asian Americans proud but Christians, and of course especially, Asian American Christians.

Asian Americans and Christianity Posted May 12th, 2012 in General

As well as know, the United States is a predominately Christian country, or at least most of its population identifies itself as Christian. However, if you go out to China, very few if any are Christian and it's a very atheistic or non-theistic country. If you hop on to Japan, it's heavily Buddhist, and if you go to South Korea, it's a mix of Buddhists and a lot of Christians here and there? Philippines? Almost entirely Catholic, just the same as Mexico (due to Spanish invasion).

However, seeing as many Americans in general are Christian, what one might not know is most Asian Americans identify themselves as Christian. Many African Americans and Hispanics are Christian, but so are many Caucasians living in the US, but nobody would think of the Asian American community when they think of Jesus Christ. Go to any Asian community in the US, whether it be in San Francisco or New York or Atlanta area, and most of the young people you will meet that are American born and of Asian descent will be of Christian faith, and are proud of it. I would say 80 to 90 percent of Chinese Americans, Korean Americans, Filipino Americans, and also a ton of Japanese and Vietnamese Americans are full fledged Christians, or have a close relative that is a full fledged Christian.

I think it's a really good thing. I'm glad the people who fled China, a country where religion is very disgraced, come to the US and raise their children in a nice suburban neighborhood and also raise them with faith and being a good Christian with great morals! However, most Christians tend to be against homosexuality but this might change in the future. Faith is always good.

Many Chinese American scientists who work for Harvard and Yale are also Christian until the day they die, so it proves to you A LOT of intelligent people are Christian, and not just poor people who live in developing countries are Christian.

My dad banned me from talking about my grandma, grandpa, Chinese people, and Asian people in general, for the next 24 hours.

Now while the term gay may not be everybody's favorite, and I don't use it either, a 20-year-old man who does not want to be identified from Saratoga, California, had this to say about his high school or high school in general:

"i thought high school was gay. and i still think it is"

The aspiring indie musician and visual artist says that Newgrounds was one of his favorite things but it interfered with school.

I dunno, what do you think of high school? Do you think it's what this dude says, "was gay?"

What Would You Have Done Posted January 3rd, 2011 in General

as a teacher?

Okay so a while ago this one Mexican kid, I think about 17 or so, with a large mustache, bald, and wearing a black tanktop came to my campus after school with these two other guys who tried to sell kids weed. They came to our school for no reason. The dude's name was Miso I believe.

But these guys were knocking the doors of the band room loudly and then kicking a building randomly or something like that, making noise and disrupting the people inside. When this female teacher opened the door and confronted them, she was all like "Okay can whoever's doing that stop it?" and this bigger kid who tried to sell weed randomly rapped in front of her his made-up rap song, and then the Mexican dude was all like "WHY ARE YOU BLAMING ME? AM I THE ONLY MEXICAN KID HERE?"

Do you think the teacher had the right to say something to make herself look like a bitch? If you were that teacher, what would you have done?

Teacher Drew Fatty On Whiteboard Posted October 22nd, 2010 in General

A month ago my teacher in the class drew something on the whiteboard to explain something and it could have appeared to be a stick figure smoking a fatty, and he was like "it's not like he's smoking a fatty" and people laughed.

Imagine if you just walked in your class and saw an actual stick figure smoking a fatty on the board.

Secret About Tom And Wade Fulp Posted October 21st, 2010 in General

My dad used to live in Pennslyvania before moving to California and he became good friends with a doctor who actually worked with Newgrounds co-founder Wade Fulp, as in being a patient of the doctor. So my dad was talking with him recently, the first time in a while, and he eventually talked about how his son (me) was online a lot and he spent a good amount of time on Newgrounds, and that he knew Wade Fulp as a patient a long time ago, and knew he was co-founder of the website Newgrounds. I believe the doctor, who's a relatively young guy who's about less than 40 years old and possibly has a son who goes on Newgrounds, remembered so.

The doctor told my dad an interesting fact because he does DNA testing and he recalled Wade Fulp did a DNA test and it was revealed he had Samoan blood in him, like 2 to 3% of his blood is Samoan, or Samoan mixed with other types of Polynesia or Micronesian. This makes his brother, obviously, 2 to 3% Samoan/Polynesian, and his father 4 to 6% and grandfather 8 to 12% and so on and so on. It's really fucking weird, but yeah, it's the truth.

So Wade and Tom are both part Islander. I'm sorta jealous, Samoa is a cool place.

Have any small amounts of interesting blood in you? I'm mostly Chinese, Irish, English, and German. I also have Jewish ancestry.

My friend Jesus, a sohpomore and a stoner who likes to kick it foooo, who was suspended for 7 school days for trying to shave our Video Production teacher's beard off and shaving a small piece (not half, actually it was an eighth of it or less, sorry if it was kinda exaggerated :/) wants to be that teacher for Halloween. I don't even know if he's allowed to be in that same class anymore after the incident, but he really wants to come to school wearing the same iconic "shitty" clothes our teacher wears and that very beard and bald head with two puff-balls of hair on the sides, and some wrinkles, using make-up and all types of things to replicate him.

Now Jesus is one crazy guy even though he's really chill, and wants to do this.

Dumb idea even after what he did?

My friend who's a 14-year-old sophomore, who's a really cool guy, kind of nerdy and into video games and stuff, has been wearing so much Rockstar merch lately. Rockstar hat everyday, and a Rockstar shirt, if not, a shirt with a video game pixel on it with colorful stuff on it, and a backpack of Rockstar. It's a lot of it but it's all chill. He says his 40-year-old brother got the stuff for him.

I dunno, what do you guys think of Rockstar merch?
