Well, then I can only imagine that he did it because the consequences of not doing it were greater.
Almost everybody knows that if you unjustifiably shoot somebody, it is a very serious crime. There are school shooters like Michael Phelps and Robert Gladden, who were 15 years old when they walked into their schools and opened fire. Phelps seriously wounded a classmate of his at his Indiana middle school and was given 30 years. Gladden fired a shotgun in his high school cafeteria in Maryland, wounding a student in the back, and was given 35 years of prison. They both were young but were given long sentences because they should have been aware of their consequences.

And, about the consequences. He might not have known how bad things could have gotten for him. Maybe he thought he'd get away with it. Maybe he thought since he was a minor, he'd get off easy.
Things we'll never know, you know?
Think of it this way. He killed a 1-year-old who will never live his life. He had a potential 70 to 80 years to live, while Mr. Dokins should not be able to live his life well either. He also put the victim's father in his own prison. He not only physically wounded him, but caused him to be emotionally scarred for much of his life. He put some own people in their own prisons, and Mr. Dokins should spend the rest of his life in prison because he ruined a family.

Then how come most people who are locked in for life live until they're old and die there? Not many of them commit suicide.
It's kind of sad, that kid could've been someone. He could've been the motherfuckin' president, he could've fallen in love, and had a kid. So much he could've been, could've done. But he threw it all away. How dumb could you be?
Yes but he knew the consequences.

It's gross, but it happens. Some people are just intolerant to it.

I never indicated that there was anything good about this story. The only good thing about it was the sentencing.

After the bombing drove to an island called UtÃf¸ya where he killed 69 teenagers and wounded many more. This man got our maximum penalty which is 21 years of prevented detention. This penalty will get extended until he no danger to our society anymore(he'll probably be in jail for the rest of his life).
Most people know about Anders Breivik. He will most likely have his sentence extended until he's dead. I doubt he'll ever be let out. Even if he did he'll probably be killed by an angry mob in public.

There have been a lot of white teenagers who have gotten long sentences for violent crimes. Michael Phelps and Robert Wayne Gladden were both school shooters. Phelps was 15 and seriously wounded a classmate at his middle school in Indiana, and was sentenced to 30 years of prison. Gladden was 15 and fired a shotgun in his high school cafeteria in Maryland, hitting a student in the back and seriously injuring him. He was given 35 years. These guys never even murdered anyone, though attempted to. They still got long sentences, and their race had nothing to do with it.

He kinda has a duckface.
Last June 2012, a 15-year-old rode his bicycle into a South Central LA neighborhood and opened fire on a crowd, killing a 1-year-old boy and wounding his father. He was tried as an adult, and today in court, he was found guilty of all the charges and was sentenced to 90 years to life in prison. The shooting appeared to have gang-related motives.
I can say that he definitely deserved the sentence. I mean, he killed a BABY. It's a shame that not all of these gang members get these harsh sentences. I personally have known a few gang members from high school, and they are a plague to society. Not every gang member is a horrible person, but the vast majority of them have no hope for contributing to our society, and should be imprisoned for a long time.
A picture of Donald Ray Dokins (pictured below):
Coincidentally, another teenager was sentenced for a shooting that happened in my city in 2011. The gunman, Jose Campos-Mendoza was 17 years old when he walked into a Mexican restaurant and fatally shot a 23-year-old man and seriously wounding another. He was tried as an adult and was facing a 100-year sentence but the sentence was dramatically reduced to 22 years. This Jose punk was also a gang member.

I've met a hobo once while walking home and he asked for spare change .
He was surprisingly nicer then I'd expected him to be .
You live in Long Beach and have only had one homeless person encounter you? I thought the LA area had a large homeless population. I know there was when I was there. I don't even live in a big city and there are a lot of homeless in my city's downtown. Some of them are nice, but some of them cause problems in public. I've had a homeless woman demand my Arizona Iced Tea and she started yelling and screaming. She drank it and then put it on the sidewalk and left.

I know that's a stereotype and a joke, but honestly it's so not true. When I was in the Vancouver airport some of the people working there seemed passive-aggressive.
However, I know a lot of other Canadians that are nice, great people and there are mean and rude people in every country, in every city.
But aside from that, I really hope this flooding can be controlled very soon. May the people of Alberta suffer no more tragedy.

Also, there are many black people temporarily residing in or visiting Tokyo. I've been to China and saw some black people in Shanghai who were tourists, so I'd imagine nobody would stare at you in a major city anywhere in Asia.

That's not true at all. Unless you're in a remote farm town or small city, that won't be the case. In Tokyo or Osaka, there are a LOT of American tourists and students. Not just Americans, but a lot of visitors from China and Europe. Just stick to the urban tourist-friendly areas and you will feel comfortable with no knowledge of Japanese language.

Maybe not a lot in Minnesota because it's too cold. They all take a bus to warm places and stay there. Here in California, downtown parts of cities are filled with homeless people, many of whom are mentally unstable and actually harass people. I've had incidents where I was harassed by homeless women who were mentally unstable.

Welcome to the south, motherfucker.
Seriously, bro? No homeless people in the south? I thought Florida, especially Miami, was one of the biggest hot spots for homeless people.
Coyotes are cool though?
Today I was walking near downtown in front of my city's junior college. There, I saw a man who appeared to be in his 50s or 60s who was yelling and screaming the word "fuck" constantly and yelling about his hatred and anger towards something. He kept on doing it for over a minute and then I walked away to my destination. However, it was very obvious that he was homeless and suffering from mental health problems. A third aspect of him that I was aware of, was the fact that he was angry at the world.
People do not realize how sick and cruel this world can be sometimes. There's murder, theft, rape, poverty, and bullying happening all the time. A lot of negative stuff happens in our society and world, and I'm sure the man was screaming fuck constantly because he was just very upset with the current state of our planet. I think he even said "fuck Obama" at least once.
How often is it that you see homeless people yelling something like this out in public? A lot of people will think "they're crazy," but there's a reason why they're like that. Personally, I feel bad for this man who was obviously put under a lot of pressure. He's a victim of our society, and instead of committing a very undesirable shooting rampage, he went on a "fucking" rampage instead.
