What do you mean by non-colored people? The list does indicate that Indian-Americans, Chinese-Americans, and some other Asian and Middle Eastern groups have a higher income than US average. Many non-Caucasian people I know are very wealthy where I live.

However, I'd assume most CEOs of companies and businesses are white people, so the extreme wealth is held by Caucasians in this country.

Sure slavery may have been hundreds of years ago, but segregation was in effect in the US until 1968. Not that long ago. People back then were generally racist.

I've read a lot of news articles in my area, and there are some politicians of a certain ethnicity, and they state in their articles that their goal is help the kids of their own ethnicity. There are some articles about a few politicians in my area, and it kept mentioning how he or she is a "Latino role model" or "a good role model who helps with the Latino community and Latino students," just because the said politician has ancestry in a Latin American country. Some people in the comments section said it was unnecessary to bring up his ethnicity nonstop in the article. While it's great to assist children, especially those that are struggling, there are children who are struggling with various issues who are of any ethnicity, race, faith, and background.

I think if we want to be progressive, we should help all of each other. There's nothing wrong with "ethnic pride" in my opinion, but I think it's unnecessary to help kids just because they are of a certain ethnicity or race. Some people I've heard say they do things like that as a political force. I also think it would lessen racism if we stopped with stuff like that. It divides us.

What do you think? Is it okay to help out certain kids because they're of a certain race/ethnicity, or should people just help all children?

There's good and bad in every race, ethnicity, nationality, culture, etc. It doesn't make sense to generalize a race or ethnicity as just one. Even if 99% of a race or ethnicity had the same type of mannerism, there's still a 1% that doesn't conduct themselves in a similar manner.

Yes, he is off the street. I don't think there is a single place in the US that would let this guy walk free at any point in his life after a premeditated shooting spree in a jewelry store and then a subsequent shooting at police. Maybe if he was in Norway or New Zealand where its sentencing is a lot more lenient, he could walk free as an elderly person. If found guilty, there's no doubt he'll be sentenced to life without parole, especially for shooting at cops, even in the most liberal places like San Francisco.

Michael Jordan isn't really well known at all now and I hardly ever hear about him. There are many countries where basketball isn't very popular, therefore they won't know who that is. Michael Jackson's music has, is, and will always be a big hit and very influential.

Not every Mexican is like that. Some are decent people. Also, you probably like Mexican food.

Rivalry, probably. I don't think Canada and the US are actual real enemies, and I'm sure the vast majority of the music and media Canadians watch and listen to is from the US. You could still hate a country even if you like stuff that originates from it, but for the most part I doubt many Canadians hate the US, just probably a little disappointed with some problems we have, like violent crime, racism, etc.

11 people arrested in San Bernardino, CA on the 18th, where a police horse and several bystanders were hurt. 15 people were arrested at unruly protests in Victorville, CA.

Also, seeing as Obama made a statement yesterday about African-Americans feeling unsafe in the US, it seemed that he possibly may have been stirring pots. 100+ protests scheduled today in various cities across the country.
