I will admit the gay joke has gotten old. Each episode is just a different show used but with the same content and dialogue, and voices.

As a former Barney Buncher, they are funny, and while they can get stale sometimes, they are just silly and should not be taken seriously. Are they masterpieces no? However, they do make me laugh a bit.

Well, I don't know anything about Fred Phelps' mother, and I don't know if she ever condoned what he did or would ever do what he did, but I agree that in a way, two wrongs don't make a right. It's probably best to ignore those people.

Fun fact: Michael Phelps' dad is named Fred Phelps too.

Many people call him a race baiter, and say that he is a very racist man because he plays the "race card." However, even though I do not agree with everything that comes out of Al Sharpton's mouth, I respect him for trying to ask for equality of all people. Not only has he fought for the rights and proper treatment of racial minorities in this country, but he also fights for the rights of gays, and animals.

I think you seriously missed the point of my original post. The reason why the fact that he's "African-American, 5 foot 8" is released on the news is to help identify his appearance so it's easier to know what he looks like. It has nothing to do with racial profiling.

Mass murderers usually commit suicide until they're congronted by police, or get shot by police during or after their mass murder events. Serial killers are more likely to alter their appearance and try to get away with it. Mass shooters are usually intent on dying after their killing spree anyways.

it isn't dumb because it's not hypothetical. Shit like this happens and it has happened near where I live. I know you feel blessed because you think that you live in a safe community, but how would you react if said mass shooter tried to kick open your door and he was armed? wouldn't you want to defend yourself if you had a lethal weapon?

Let's say at a building near you, a mass shooting happened, leaving several people dead and several injured. The suspected gunman, described as an African-American male in his 40s, about 5-feet-8-inches, and with a stocky build, is driving a white Lexus. You happen to walk outside of your house and you see a person fitting the same exact description driving the same exact car, and you obviously feel shocked and intimidated after seeing this, and he is likely armed with several firearms. What do you subsequently do? Do you go back into your house and retrieve a weapon for self-defense if he tries to approach you, or do you call the police, or do you walk back into your house and not respond, or how else would you react?

Yeah racism is just an ignorant set of ideologies. It's useless. Many people are at least a little bit racist, but it's nothing to be proud of.
