Have any of you ever had McDonald's or other fast food joints in other countries and how did it taste like? Was it much different?
I had a McDonald's meal in Hong Kong just today and it was not much different than the ones in America but maybe less fattening. They do have a few McDonald's meals that are Asian influenced though like the Korean McSpicy.
I also heard that in Germany they serve alcohol at their McDonald's as well as in France too, and Jamaica has curry flavored McDonald's burgers. Philippines has spaghetti served at their McDonald's too I believe.
It's also to important to note that the Albuquerque Police Department is known for many police shootings, probably the most per capita of any department in America. Charging the officers with murder was a step in the right direction to prevent a higher number of preventable shootings by law enforcement

Exactly. Of course police have a job that can be tough sometimes but this act and some incidents in Australia I'm sure of are prime examples of police brutality/bullying
I heard Birdman was good too I should watch it

Why are you defending this brutal act of violence committed by two police officers? Is police brutality something you like? Do you defend people who are blatantly shown in videos to be shooting people in robberies too?

The Young Turks take on it
http://news.yahoo.com/lawyers-albuquerque-officers-face-charges-killing-162450244.html
Today two officers who are members of the Albuquerque PD were charged with murder for shooting a homeless schizophrenic man to death. The shooting occurred in March 2014 and lead to many protests and accusations of police brutality and excessive force.
The two officers, one a SWAT officer and the other a detective, shot James Boyd after a five hour stand off in a desert foothills. Boyd had small knives in his hands and were 10 to 20 feet away when one officer fired five or six rounds from an automatic rifle at the victim in his back after they used a flash grenade. Despite being armed with bean bag guns they did not use those until after using live rounds and used it when the victim fell to the ground wheezing and pleading for his life. They then released a police dog on him. Boyd died he next day in a hospital.
The officers also allegedly made comments about wanting to kill the victim and shoot his penis off, as well as calling him a lunatic.
They will have to surrender sometime soon on the murder charges. If found guilty of second degree murder, they face 15 years to life imprisonment. For first degree, 25 to life, and for manslaughter, a maximum of six years of prison/
Do you think the killing was murder or at least reckless? The officers could potentially face serious prison time. It seems like this has been happening so much in America and this was a blatant case of officers seeing things as if they were in a video game.

Alberta has one of the largest malls in the world that has an indoor swimming pool, movie theater, roller coaster, and many other things. Also Alberta has Banff, a beautiful resort town and near a national park and ski resort I believe

With all the driving around, and most folks working office jobs, it's horribly easy to have an overly sedentary lifestyle.
I am a 21 year old American male and I only weigh 130 pounds. Kinda thin. So yeah I'm an exception.

I grew up during the Bush era and he did not do any favors for your image. My school was especially anti-American and even the teachers wasted no opportunity to demonize the states. People here tend to think the US is full of crime and racism and that the people are rude, arrogant, stupidly patriotic and ignorant of anything outside the country.
It's not a pretty picture.
Where I live in America there are a lot of different races that get along, many people are not paranoid rednecks or drunks, and supposedly open minded people.
I have been to Canada briefly, in BC, and the people seemed almost the same as Americans but there are differences for sure.

You know that's his shtick right? It's his character. He does it so it makes him memorable.
In 1998, a Christmas movie called Jack Frost was released to theaters. It was a movie starring Michael Keaton as a guy named Jack Frost who is in a rock band and has a son and wife. He gives his son a special whistle as a gift before Christmas and then he goes on a trip with a friend and he dies in a car accident on a windy road. One year later, his son still grieves his father's death and decides to blow on the whistle his dad gave him. He blows on it and the pile of snow outside turns into a snowman that is actually a reincarnation of his father Jack. Jack as the snowman then walks up to the house where he lived and when his son sees him he is scared and shoves him in front of a snow plower that plows him. Later on in the movie his son realizes the snowman is a reincarnation of his dad and hangs out with him before he melts and passes away again.
Nostalgia Critic reviewed the movie too and hated it, calling it a pile of shit in the snow of a film.
The movie received a lot of bad feedback and most people didn't seem to like it. It seemed pretty cheesy and the snowman did look creepy as nostalgia critic put it. It was just silly and even for kids I don't know if they would like it. It's obviously geared towards kids but I have a feeling most didn't like it and found it to be lame. My sister didn't like it either but said there are worse Christmas movies out there.
Did you remember seeing it and if you didn't would you watch it? Did it seem shitty?

I don't like Bill O'Reilly or Fox News at all but once in a while he Or they may say something entertaining or interesting. Bill O'Reilly had the infamous David Duke on his show a few days ago. David Duke was a former Louisiana House of Representative and former KKK member who also wrote several books against communism and diversity. Duke claims that he is not a white supremacist but a man looking out for his people (white people) and is the chairman of a "European American rights organization" and claims he's against violence and hate but just loves his race.
Well O'Reilly actually won an argument against Duke in that three minute interview. Duke is like "I want to preserve my heritage" and O'Reilly ia right to have said "what does that mean?" twice. Duke is then like "European heritage" and elaborates by saying "Mozart, Beethoven, Bach" and O'Reilly said the logical response that "they are people, they come from different countries." O'Reilly then says that the garbage comes from two different sides of the spectrum and that "we are all in it together and skin color should not matter" which is right.
It was a decent interview and while Duke seemed calm, he has the right to have those thoughts in his head but he's a bit of an odd man. I don't understand the need for so much separation when we are Americans. Want to live amongst your own race? Then go to a part of the U.S. that has places that are completely white, and there are many places that are.
What do you think of this racist and O'Reilly's smoldering of him in it?

Kids are too young to have seen Rugrats when it aired.
Right. I don't think Rugrats is even on TV anymore, or at least often. It's not like SpongeBob where it's a huge hit worldwide and is played constantly. I think Rugrats stopped making episodes years ago, so likely anyone under 10 would be like "what's Rugrats?" Although unless some parents showed their kids DVDs or online videos of Rugrats if they were big enough fans to continue a tradition of raising kids by making them watch Rugrats.
My friend from six hours away from where I live came to visit in my city twice over the years, once because he had to come here for his sister's job opportunity.
My city is a little boring so most people wouldn't just come here even though it's an hour away from the big city and it's near nice wineries, so my friend joked that the only reason why he'd come all the way out to my city besides seeing me would be if there was a Rugratsfest being held. He's a big fan of Rugrats.
If there was a Rugratsfest would you attend it and what would you do there?
