If you guys don't stop the complete idiocy in here, I'll fly right to your fucking town and rip your eyes out.

I have hardly read so much bullshit in recent times, so if you don't manage to get back in line, I'm not afraid of kicking the annoyances out of here.

I'm with Idio here, back to decent conversation, otherwise... you know what's gonna happen.

Wow, congratulations for making a close-minded fool out of yourself. You aren't by any chance a stand-up comedian? If not, you'd probably have a career there.

I'm not going to participate in the Jackson argument, I just want to say that objectively speaking, the man had talent, whether you like it or not.

Anyway, new Behemoth album in three months - first single is out and called "Ov Fire and the Void" - available on youtube, check it out. I think it's a lot more promising than "The Apostasy" - I guess that's because there is some black metal in there.

Idio, people don't really seem to dig thrash around here. I'm listening to Artillery, Poltergeist and Forbidden a lot these days, but they are never mentioned here.

Also, Happy Birthday AniMetal!

I've told you once already, but I'll do so again; check the new Artillery album "When Death Comes" out.

Some truly nice Thrash metal from an oldschool band there.

I'm very interested in the new Artillery full-length. Just heard the "When Death Comes" single and it's pretty good. Anyone else waiting for it?

Happy birthday you two youngsters ;)

Also, glad you enjoyed the WASP stuff you heard, Bahamut. No glam in their sound, indeed.

I felt the same before, but after checking them out I can say they are quite excellent.

Check out these songs:

The Headless Children, Thunderhead (for kickass Epic 80s Metal)
Mean Man (for an attitude-laden Hard Rock/Heavy Metal breed)
Rebel In The F.D.G. (for driving 80s metal with speed metal tendencies).

Sounds interesting, will check it out when it's released.

Guys, we had a discussion about Dio vs. Ozzy Black Sabbath before. Well, when we did that, the Tony Martin albums were unknown to me....

Headless Cross & Tyr are fucking excellent, how come I only heard them now?

I'm listening to W.A.S.P. for the first time ever right now :P

The Headless Children sounds pretty damn good so far. The title track rules.

Anyone into W.A.S.P.?

Nuff said

Dio plays keyboards, writes stories, twisted lyrics and sings like no one else. He also co-writes each and every album he releases.

Let's keep it at that, both are living legends. Without a doubt. And both still got it.

I don't deny the importance of early Sabbath, but no Ozzy material comes close to Heaven and Hell, Dehumanizer or even Mob Rules.

I do prefer Dio's solo career, though.

Ah, I remember. You are excused :)

Like i said it was kind of lame because of my shitty seats, but still a good show. The album is ok, but it lacks decent riffs and vocal melodies, old work is much better.

Traitor! It's better than the Ozzy stuff and a great mixture of the three Dio albums. There are some excellent vocal melodies there (Bible Black, Double the Pain, Breaking Into Heaven)!

But to each his own :P

Lemmy might be a king, but God = Ronnie James DIO. You all know it.

And I should really kick you all in the ass for not discussing the new Heaven and Hell album. For the fools, it's the new Black Sabbath record with Dio and it kicks ass.

and Kidd is gay for not checking it out.

Hi dude, great list, welcome to the club!

SepticFlesh - Death Metal at its finest. I got their 2008 album "Communion" and it's awesome! I've been meaning to get "Revolution DNA" but I am having second thoughts. Should I get it?

That's exactly my field. "Revolution DNA" is their worst album (still listenable, though) but definitely get "Esoptron" and "The Ophidian Wheel" - two mandatory releases.

If you like stuff like Septic Flesh, try out Rotting Christ's "Triarchy of the Lost Lovers" album and The Elysian Field's "We...the Enlightened" - you will love these two.

Hell, I just realized I haven't listened to any Death metal in ages. Not even Vader or Hypocrisy.

I'm totally in a Dio/Black Sabbath with Dio/Heaven and Hell craze. Interrupted by my Rotting Christ addiction.

I know, I'm boring.

I also support the Alien idea by GoryBlizzard. Or your parents. But no, aliens.

Kevin Bacon, metal, what? ^^

Anyone seen Terminator Salvation already? Is it worth it? It's coming to Austria next weekend, so I'd like to have a few opinions.

In musical terms, the new Heaven and Hell is quite great. Of course Ozzy needs to file a lawsuit out of jealousy.

Well, I'm interested in what Varg will do, now that he is released. Will we really see an album? I've never been a big Burzum fan, but I'd still like to hear sme new material, just out of curiousity.

Also, did any of you guys listen to the newe Beherit album "Engram" ? I might be a little late on this, but it was surprisingly good - not mindblowing, yet an entertaining listen.

Oh, and Diablo II and Dungeon Keeper rule the hell out of most PC games. I haven't played any games in ages, but those two I should probably try again.

I actually can't wait for a new Megadeth album. I thought "United Abominations" was a very nice album, surely their best one since "Youthanasia".

A little less politics please, but keep them riffs coming and I'm happy.

I don't really give a fuck about Ellefson, though - his replacements have always been fine.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys!

Yeah, it's a small label and I have to pay some money for the release myself, but it's definitely worth it.

I'm working on music as much as possible, but due to me working/learning/studying so many things at the same time I'm trying to avoid a total burn-out. Life's good but very stressful these days ^^

Some good bands I have found in the last few months:

Melechesh - Black/Death Metal
Dead Congregation - Death Metal
Lloth - Atmospheric Black Metal
